Useless if not for Lyft
It’s a terrible app, the ETA is always at least 10 minutes lower than actual, the drivers are (with some exceptions) terrible, especially when it comes to pick up and drop-off, or the lacklustre driving skills (had people circle the same block 3 times because they wouldn’t follow a “turn right at the light” signal). Every now and again they will give you a ride through Lyft, and in those odd cases, you thank god for that

App not functional after latest update
The app no longer allows me to book rides after the latest update. The previous versions worked just fine
Bad algorithm, bad location tracking
1) Whenever I order a via, the wait time is almost never correct. The timer could say arriving in 6 minutes and then arrives in 12, or arrives in 12 minutes then arrives in 3. 2) The car’s location in the app’s map always lags behind the actual car. 3) The driver drove past me so I had to walk to car, by the time I walked to the car the app canceled my ride saying the driver waited too long-this is not the first time this happened.

Wrong Car Details
The app gave me the wrong car details including license plate and vehicle type. I was expecting one car model and the app said they had arrived but that make of car was nowhere present and I was instead surrounded with 3 other via cars of the same make and could not tell which one was for me. So many other issues as well.

So Many Things to Fix
This app needs to be fixed. I ordered a car tonight, and when my driver came to pick me up, they drove past me and then left me stranded. Initially, instead of stopping at the location where I ordered my car to, my driver Rosetta drove past me to the other side of the intersection. So I had to wait for the light to turn green so I could use cross walk to get to her - which again was the opposite side of where the car had been ordered. The entire time I was trying to call her to let her know I would be there in just a second, and that I needed to cross the street. Instead, she didn’t answer, and drove away as soon as I had finished crossing the road — leaving me stranded outside in 20° weather. This is unacceptable. There needs to be more accountability for drivers and easily accessible communication.

Horrible App, Needs Significant Improvements
Extremely glitchy and customer service is condescending and extremely unhelpful. This app was coded by a pair of manatees on shrooms and lacks even the most basic functionalities. It continuously puts students in dangerous situations with its glitches.

Please remove the pop-up that shows every time you open the app about the number of passengers allowed.
Annoying
Vias randomly cancel and freeze all the time, wait times are inaccurate, usually takes significantly longer than just walking. Also the routes they have to take are convoluted and usually unnecessarily long (even if there’s only one passenger)
Barely functional
Map function totally broken, time estimates dont work, waited 30 minutes for a ride that never showed up because the driver kept getting rerouted further away

Terrible app
Worst app ever. It designs the most complicated route to make you late, and the app freezes every minute. It’s a tragedy that my school decides to use this app…

Extremely buggy and freezes all the time
Frequently freezes on the initial loading screen and the map often freezes as well making it very difficult to tell where the car is
Bad Time Estimates
The wait time is generally very long, and it is very bad at estimating how long it will take for the car to arrive.
"15 minute wait" is a LIE
The app says they'll comp a lift if it takes more than 15 minutes for a driver to get you, but what they dont tell you is that only counts for when you book the initial ride. The ETA for my via is 20 minutes after i booked it for the initial 13 minute wait.

Sometimes it picks me up just to circle back to my original pickup spot because it finds more people to pick up
