Terrible game doesn’t even tell you it’s 8 dollars if you want to play more than a couple levels

Got this game thinking it would be a fun free game I could play immediately I get told this is a trial and the actual game is like 8 dollars

Truly Inventive

It’s been a WHILE—like a decade—since I’ve encountered a truly inventive tower defense game.

But this game checks every single box I have, and some I didn’t know I had. Let’s start with the really creative stuff:

1. Personality: the pixel sprite hero is cute and whimsical. When you don’t touch the screen for a minute, she gets bored and goes “doo doo doo.” The flavor and crunch text are straightforward but cute without being winky. The music is catchy and fits the tone perfectly—jaunty at times but still full of ominous threat: like an enchanted forest at dusk. The artwork and level design is a quaint but beautiful solid color motif. There is a story to be revealed within, though I’ll admit I haven’t unpacked it yet.

2. Tower types: I’ve seen all the tower types. Well, I thought I had. I won’t spoil it, but I guarantee there are at least a few that will surprise and delight you. Discovering the synergies is a joy

3. Variety: each level has a unique problem to solve. Some have inconvenient tower locations, some have an overly exposed base to protect, and others have brute force waves. Solving it with the intended method is very satisfying. Solving it with a different method is VERY satisfying.

4. Difficulty: this is one of the most balanced games I’ve ever played, in genre or out. I’m not saying it’s easy, because it’s not. It’s surprisingly hard. But it’s fair, and it’s not punitive. The consequence of losing is that you just try again at the beginning of the wave. But rather than it feeling low stakes, it makes the various decisions feel important.

5. Pacing: there’s no tutorial. The first several levels have some simple control callouts, but it does an excellent job of showing instead of telling. To me, this is a sleeper mark of a great game designer. You also choose your own upgrade path via unlocking towers. You’re forced to learn one or two new towers at a time before accessing the full suite. Again, excellent design.

6. Fun: it’s extremely fun and satisfying. I normally don’t like a hero sprite in a TD game. But the movement and controls are so fluid and balanced, that it actually increases the immersion and adds a layer of—if not difficult—complexity and richness. Becoming familiar with the enemies and how they interact with the towers unlocks new depth with each level.

Overall, a phenomenal and rich game that’ll work your brain in a super interesting way.

Love it!

Love the style and animation. The demo has the right amount of tease to get me hooked for the full game

5/5

This game is a work of art

very charming game

honesty have a blast playing this and i really enjoy the art style and music. it’s really engaging and easy to pick up and put down or get lost in. a lot of games struggle to keep or grab my attention but this one did. i underestimated it and didn’t think i would be into it much at all or that i would get bored with it early on and i am grateful that it had a free demo version, because it really pleasantly surprised me. i am normally into things like pokémon, animal crossing or sandbox games so sometimes when i see a strategy game, i’m intimidated and feel like i might get bored since i prefer a focus/priority on immersive worlds, interesting characters and art design. the strategy aspect adds enough depth to keep you playing while still having beautiful pixel art and music that charms me. definitely don’t look past this one and give it a try. it has much broader appeal than you’d expect and it’s easy to get into.

Preço incompatível

O jogo realmente é muito bom, mas o preço de 39,99 é muito se comparado com as promoções do mesmo jogo na steam (corta o preço quase pela metade), então suplico aos devs uma redução de preço, para que possa comprar

Excellent balance of strategy and action

There's a lot to conquer and the difficulty increases as you would expect. But I finished it all and I want more :D

Amazing!!

You have to pay once, but then it’s so worth it! Before you pay you even get a little trial to see if you like it! Absolutely incredible graphics, and incredible game play. Anyone can love it!

Мда уж

При заходе в игру вылезло уведомление, что игра не полная и открыто пару сценариев, дальше плати. Даже не стал играть. Если уж хочешь денег, продавай сразу за кэш, не вводи людей в заблуждение что игра бесплатная.

disappointed

There are levels early on here that are just completely unbeatable I mean any tower any combo does not matter it’s completely impossible then paying money just to hit an impossible roadblock I mean it’s ridiculous

Great

For a mobile game, this far exceeded my expectations. I have paid similar amounts for other games for just a few hours of simple gameplay. This game provides hours and hours of gameplay, each level feels challenging in a very satisfying way. The art and sound design are great. This is easily one of the best mobile games I’ve ever gotten.

Love this game - too short

Such a unique great game. My only gripe is how quickly I finished it I wish there was more levels. I could play forever.

Not enough

The game once purchased is too small for the price. Surly there could have been loads more maps/scenarios.
The towers are same same with little upgrade options. I like the game just wish you got more of it for the price.

갓겜인데?

귀찮다는 놈들은 뽑기겜이나 하던지..
길도 다 아이콘으로 알려주고
몹이 갈 방향은 예측 가능한데 ..?

A Revolution in Tower Defense!

The developer has took a hard look at the design of tower defence games and questioned every aspect.

I love the direction this game has gone in, it’s really shook up a stale genre!

Very cool mechanics and amazing game!

Although so far I am only playing the demo, I am having a blast and am planning to buy the full thing soon. The game has some unique mechanics, and the sound alone made me love the game. Seems simple at first but gets really challenging. A hidden gem of the App Store that I hope will gain recognition!

Meh

Has potential, just not enough to justify the price of the full game.

Baits you

It baited me in thinking it was free 5-6 levels and there’s a pay wall
