About

The bill lands in the middle of the table. Everyone goes quiet. Someone offers to just split it evenly — and whoever had a salad quietly pays for someone else's steak. RightSplit settles it properly, in about ten seconds. Point your camera at the receipt. Tap who had what. Send everyone their number. No sign-up, no group chat, nothing for your friends to download. A CALCULATOR, NOT A LEDGER RightSplit has no ambition to become your financial life. No running balance following you around. No friend requests. No notification three weeks later reminding you that someone still owes you $4. You ask who owes what, you get an answer, you go back to dinner. That single idea is why there's no account to create and no server to trust. Your receipts, your amounts and your friends' names stay on your iPhone. SCAN THE RECEIPT Hold up your camera and the whole thing comes in — every line item, the tax, the tip, the total. On the newest iPhones it's read by Apple Intelligence; on every other iPhone a fast on-device scanner does the same job. Either way it happens on your device, and anything it gets wrong takes one tap to fix. Already have the receipt as a photo, or did someone message it to you? Share it straight into RightSplit from anywhere in iOS. SPLIT IT HOWEVER IT ACTUALLY WENT • Evenly, with tip — regional defaults built in, one slider to change them • Item by item — tap everyone who shared the wine, put the steak on whoever ordered it • Uneven — nudge one person's share and the rest rebalance instantly • Rounded off, so nobody is chasing anybody for eleven cents THEN THE AWKWARD PART, HANDLED Asking for the money is the part people hate. RightSplit does it for you. Everyone gets their own message with the place, their exact amount, and a tap-to-pay link already filled in — Venmo, PayPal.me, Revolut, Wise, IBAN or Apple Pay. Send it over Messages or WhatsApp, or just copy it. SPACES, FOR THE BILLS THAT KEEP COMING A weekend away. A shared apartment. The subscriptions you split with friends. Drop every receipt and expense into a Space and RightSplit untangles the whole thing — who paid, who owes whom, and the fewest possible payments that make it even. Four transfers instead of eleven. It handles a trip that crossed currencies, tags each expense by category, and shows you where the money actually went. Mark the rent as monthly and it will remind you. IT LIVES ON YOUR HOME SCREEN • Widgets that show who still owes you — mark them paid without opening the app • Your last split, on the Lock Screen • A live tracker that counts people off as they pay you back • "Hey Siri, split a bill" • Control Center and the Action Button WHAT YOU GET WITHOUT PAYING Even splits, tips, fair rounding, your last five splits, and your first receipt scan. Pro+ adds item-level splitting, uneven amounts, unlimited scans and history, Spaces, currency conversion and the payment tracker. Take it yearly — or pay once and keep it for good. No subscription required. 40 languages. 20 currencies. Works in airplane mode. Made by one independent developer, not a finance company. Every email is answered by the person who wrote the app. Terms of Use https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/

What's New in RightSplit

1.8.6

September 3, 2026

Dinner in Tokyo. The bill says ¥14,200, and there isn't a decimal point anywhere on it. RightSplit reads it anyway. This is the update that packs a bag. Receipts priced in yen, won, dong, forint or rupiah scan properly now — nothing to hunt for after the decimal, no total quietly divided by a hundred. And the 小計, 消費税 and 合計 rows are finally read as the summary lines they are, in the receipt's own language, instead of landing on the table as three more dishes. Fifty-eight currencies, up from twenty, in a list you can actually search. Type "yen", "JPY" or "¥" and there it is, under the name you'd say out loud. The numbers behave better at home, too. A total over a thousand stays exactly what you typed, and an amount pasted out of a message arrives intact — however your corner of the world writes its separators. The bill still gets settled in about ten seconds. It just travels a great deal better now. Enjoying RightSplit? A quick rating genuinely helps a small independent app like this one.
