Not Free! Must pay!!

Marketed as free, download the app and go through set up just to come to a subscription page- no free tier. Cheapest option is $30. Be clear in the marketing that it’s a pay-to-use app instead of wasting parents’ valuable time.

They won’t refund you

I’m really upset about the way they handled my situation. I immediately contacted their customer support team that I was mistakenly charged $127.19 for a whole year after my free trial ended. I tried to cancel the subscription before it renewed but for some reason the cancellation didn’t process.

Frustrated, I submitted a refund request to Apple Support for the reason that I cancelled the subscription and wasn’t using it. Unfortunately, Apple denied my request. I contested that and tried to get a second request, but they denied it with a final decision. They didn’t give any reason as to why they denied it, which is very aggravating. I honestly haven’t been using this app. I was enticed by it from the ad, but once I got the app, I just didn’t open it nor have the time to invest in it because I was too busy tending to my baby. It’s overwhelming to me and I don’t have the need for it.

So, I asked for a refund. This is an unnecessary expense for me since we are a 3 person household living off of one income. They said that they couldn’t do anything about the refund because Apple controls it and that they reached out to them to see if anything could be done. I followed up and asked for an update and did not get a response. Very disappointing!

False advertisement in the ad

If I could give it zero stars, I would! I downloaded the app and it was about child development stages, and nothing to do about things to do in your town.

Adds misleading

Was advertised to me as a free app that just tells me about the kid friendly events going on in my area but it is in fact not free at all and is about development and parenting skills instead. I’m sure it would be a great app for some but I was very disappointed that it wasn’t as it was advertised to me at all.

Wanted to love it

I’ve had the app for about a month now, I paid for the full access subscription. I’ve been kicked out of the app for network issues at least 3 times now, once it made me completely start my tracking all over after having used it the past 3 days, I think got kicked out again a week or two later and lost THAT data but then gained back the original data I had?? I’m writing this review having been kicked out a third time and not being let back in … other than those issues I really like it, I just wish it didn’t have issues staying open/keeping me logged in 🫩

Pretty but Glitchy

A lot of flaws. I ended up using this app for tracking feeds and diapers. Has a bunch of other awesome features but it’s glitchy I’d rather just not deal with it. Ex: It freezes in the chat every time I try to ask a question

Save money

Save yourself some money, this app hardly works, it doesn’t track like it claims to do, you see the bottles 2-3 feedings prior, same with diapers, then when you go to history it only shows you the last feeding not a list of each time you did something. I wish I never paid the year cause this is a joke

No free options

In-app purchases don’t exist. You do the entire set up and hit a paywall. I read the reviews they responded to claiming they have plenty of free options. However someone who has downloaded the app 2 months after that response doesn’t have access to it. There’s no x to get out of the paywall screen. You’re just stuck there. Why does Apple allow this? Why are developers being so sneaky. Just charge people before downloading so they know what to expect and the transparency is there. However you loose trust when your deceptive. Get any excited about something then telling them they have to pay is such an annoying tired script. It probably worked in the past but people are over the scam. Very disappointing.

Parts of App suck

Doesn’t let me edit past logs. The updates don’t fix this…please fix

Paid & Unable to Access

Loved the app initially & paid for the discounted yearly membership but the next day when I went to access the app, it restarted the sign up process again from the beginning and asking me to pay again. I tried many things to bypass this without resolve & now I cannot use the app. Will be seeking a refund if this is not resolved.

Glitches every time I close the app

I was really hopeful for this app, I even paid for the subscription but every time I go to pull the app back up I have to completely start from the beginning. Once I’d get through all the starting questions I’d have another child I was tracking when really I only have one & I just had to completely reenter all of his information. Not worth the money I paid & now I’ve paid for a year that I won’t be using because I’m not going through all the same questions multiple times a day every day.

App freezes

I love the helpfulness and aesthetic of the app. I ask Riley questions every day for things about my baby. It’s made me feel more at ease.

The issues:
1) the chat freezes the app if I ask a second question. I need to close and reopen the app for it to work again.
2) Sometimes it doesn’t work for me or my husband. (I paid for the subscription). The app doesn’t let him ask questions at all.
3) some grammar mistakes. Using “he” instead of “his”
4) sometimes Riley’s responses are incomplete

Bad coding

I wanted to love this app, I tested all the top developmental/tracking apps on the market and desperately wanted this to work as
intended because it would have been the best of them all but there are just too many bugs to justify the cost (or use at all) I don’t have time to redo all of the logging entries and was having to use another app to time feedings and sleeps and then transfer them in. The Gyde feature has flaws too, aside from not outputting a schedule there are clear indicators that the entire app was vibe coded and not actually developed and QA’d. Such a shame because this app had such potential but it the basic features just don’t work, it’s worthless.

Not actually free

I never saw what content is available or how useful anything would be because I had to go through a profile set up that ended with please leave a review and please choose how you want to pay for the subscription. There is a 7 day trial, but it feels really scummy to have everything locked behind a paywall.

I’m not good at titles

I really really like this app, I wish it was fully free. Everything is a sub now and I just can’t afford them. I use whatever the free version offers.

Enjoy this app, yet…

I really like the features on this app, yet it is constantly freezing and I have to routinely close the app and reopen it multiple times a day. I can never use the chat option because it always makes the app freeze. Beyond frustrating because I do really like the information.

Great, but….

This app is great for when I have questions about what my baby should be doing or if something is normally. Yet, lately it seems like the app keeps freezing every time I go into the chat area and then I have to close the app and reopen it. This has become a more frequent thing lately which is an inconvenience and a little frustrating.

Quite a lot of bugs but overall helpful

So far I’ve used it only for a week and I had trouble with tracking timer several times, but overall I like the app features and what it’s trying to do.

Expensive for otherwise free information, Makes promises that it doesn’t keep.

Downloaded this app hoping it would have unique information and helpful ideas on hitting milestones. Was disappointed that it was all information that has been otherwise presented for free, no fun spin or reason to pay for it, so I ended my free trial. Still got charged for a whole year($132) even though I no longer even have the app downloaded and, again, CANCELLED MY FREE TRIAL, and they won’t refund. Also, promised upon agreeing to a free trial that they would notify 3 days before charging. They did not (I have a screenshot of all notifications they sent in the six days I had the app active) Overall not worth it, and will take your money regardless of cancelling. Support team not helpful.

It’s fine

App itself is fine, it’s nothing special, the reason for 2 stars is Apple automatically charges after the free trial for a year not even an option for a 1 month subscription… so when I asked for a refund since it wasn’t warranted for a charge of $120 the email back from the company stated “they don’t even give us the power to offer refunds even if we wanted to”. This is disappointing and puts a sour taste in my mouth for an app I’m not even interested in using after the trial (I missed the cancel date on day 7, and they charged before I could cancel).
