I don’t see the value
I think a simple recording device combined with today’s AI tools can provide better results. I’ve used this platform in both sales and management, and in my experience it tends to create unnecessary oversight and encourages managers to overanalyze conversations, leading to unnatural interactions with the sales team.
I’m surprised to see so many positive reviews. I can understand the value for managers who oversee a small team spread across multiple locations and can’t personally observe everyone. It is not set up for high traffic sales that see a lot of customers in a day. It does provide useful data and visibility, but I don’t believe it meaningfully improves sales performance or selling skills. In my experience, it generates more activity work and metrics than actual sales results.

Rilla is so fun
I love using Rilla. Not only just to review my own sales conversations, but I listen to the more senior reps conversations to help me replicate what they’re doing. Definitely expedited my learning curve.
Be Aware Of Fraudulent Charges
I just want to share my awful experience. After weeks of listening to the app recording TV conversations on CX televisions I decided against the app. Not a good tool if it can’t filter tech and CX conversations from the TV ones. I canceled my trial subscription using their own app and still got a bill. After disputing the charge they told me they were not going to dismiss charges and are claiming I have a 1 year contract. I turned off the service almost a month before the trial ended. Be aware!!! This company cares nothing about their customers only looking to make a quick buck. Now I’m going to have to press legal charges for deceptive practices. Stay away from this company. You have been warned. They will extort and try and rob you!!!

Not a fan
App needs work. AI needs to be more advanced. It doesn’t pick up simple cues.
Absolutely killed it in solar sales but had to figure out how to rig the app cause of Momentum Solar
Was a rep at Momentum Solar when they made all sales people use this app to follow their script. Consistently led the board in deals before and after the app. Just had to make sure the app only heard the parts where I used the script. Now a days there’s a hundred apps that do this and more and probably better but props to the owner of the app who was able to talk the head of sales at Momentum into spending hundreds of thousands into an enhanced voice memo meeting analyzer app. Now that’s a pitch I would love to see the recording and performance of.

Dumb, pointless unlock system
The app is fine, except for the fact that most of its features are locked behind some sort of unlock system, in which you have to do certain actions a certain number of times before you can make full use of the app. This is completely ridiculous and pointless. After switching to a new phone, the app did not keep my progress, and now I am unable to access all of the features because I have to do a certain number of ride-alongs again. I don’t even understand why there is a system like this in the app in the first place.

This app has a bright future but only if it starts getting better updates. It is currently missing far too many quality of life features an app like this needs. Such as, you cannot change your time zone. You cannot make comments while on your iPad. It had decent analytics, but those have been taken away leaving you with little feedback. This has the chance to be the best tool for sales teams.

This app is a horrendous misuse of my states one party consent laws. The app requires you to go into your customers home and record them without their consent and not only do I think that’s secretive, I also think it’s extremely morally reprehensible. My last company forced us technicians to record our customers every single time we went on a call and I after being a part of that I now truly believe micromanaging your employees just creates animosity and resentment. If you want to ride along with your technicians then go do a ride along rather than monitoring them through Rilla. I hope that word gets out about these kinds of apps because I don’t think the average person would find comfort in knowing their service technician was covertly recording their conversation.

I’ve been using this as a rep and now as a manager, and I can’t tell you how much time it’s saved me. I can review my calls for quick follow-ups and make sure I didn’t miss anything. As a manager, it helps me identify what I missed in training to make sure everyone’s on the same page. Couldn’t ask for a better software to help our team get better.

Game Changer
Downloaded this app to help close more sales. After 6 months of usage I’ve seen a 40% increase in close rates simply by using Rick AI for Virtual Ridealongs. Initially ran into trouble from techs with adopting the product but saw an immediate turn around once they saw an increase in commissions due to the higher close rates. So happy to have got in early and can’t wait to see what coming down the pipe.
