Appalling
Ring is absolutely unreliable door bell that is out there. They have no support in India and you are left with a device which is nothing but a cheap camera! Will never buy their products

Leading not buying
These cameras are ok and the backend is alright. The issue is that they are basically useless if you don’t pay the huge monthly fees. What this really means is that you are leading these devices in perpetually.

Best produce I’ve bought in a long time. App works fast and is very clear. Great security feature for when you’re home or out.
Extra Charges
I think it is ridiculous to pay such and expensive subscription fee. The cameras are not cheap to begin with and the price is too much.

Update August 8, 2026–Has anyone else started experiencing double notifications? It’s been happening to me for a couple of months now. I have over 30 devices, most of which are pro floodlight cameras. I highly recommend these devices. They’ve become incredible since Amazon acquired Ring years ago.
I have a suggestion for Amazon: offer people 6 hours of playback without requiring a subscription. I believe this model would encourage more people to subscribe, especially when they realize 6 hours is a great feature. Over time, I think it will make them want more time to review their recordings.

___________________A very stupid thing started happening with iOS 18. If you’re wearing your AirPods and speaking on a phone call. If you have critical notifications turned on at your doorbell the notification keeps cutting the connection to your AirPods repeatedly. Very annoying!!!!

Avoid this product - Ring is Clownware
I have a ring security Cam. Ring is not a good reliable product. when you go into the last bit of power saving mode and suddenly you have a knock at your door at 5am and you are in power save mode you cannot just force it into a last ditch effort to see or record an event. recorded events require a subscription.
I also found the Apple version of this program to not follow my specific audio and notification settings. The app pouts in a weird way and becomes a total nuisance. if you leave notifications on it will flood your android notice screen with hundreds of notices and if you mute the notices it will just entirely stop making sounds to notify you entirely. absolute clown show of a company. spend your nickles on an Axis camera instead.

Rubbish watch in the past
Rubbish system and notification speed . by the time the doorbell lets you know that someone on your property Type already been to your front door turned around and left so all you can do is watch after the event it is just so slow. If somebody is robbing off your doorstep all you can do is watch after the event.

The app forced me to update to use it when I needed to see who was breaking into my house and time was of the essence. Do better, it should always be optional to update when you need to see the live feed of the camera.
