About
Share the photo. Not the place.
Photos and videos carry hidden details: where they were taken, which phone and lens took them, and when. Links copied from apps carry codes that record who shared them. Rinse removes all of it before anything leaves your device.
HOW IT WORKS Rinse adds Share Without Metadata to your share sheet. Pick up to 20 photos, videos or links in Photos, Safari, Files or any other app, tap Share, then tap Share Without Metadata. Rinse cleans each item, shows you what it removed, and opens the share sheet with the clean copies.
WHAT RINSE REMOVES • Location, camera and lens details, and capture dates in photos and videos • Hidden preview images that can show the uncropped original • Tracking codes added to links, using the open ClearURLs rules • Redirect wrappers around links, and (optionally) short links like t.co
PRIVATE BY DESIGN • Everything happens on your device. Nothing is uploaded. • Every cleaned file is checked. If Rinse can't confirm a file is clean, it leaves it out instead of sharing it. • No analytics, ads, accounts or tracking. Data Not Collected. • Your original photos are never changed.
QUALITY STAYS JPEG photos and videos are cleaned without re-compressing. HEIC photos are re-saved at full quality.
SETTINGS • Paranoid mode re-encodes photos and videos to disturb fragile hidden watermarks • Keep capture date when you want to share when a photo was taken • Most Compatible converts HEIC to JPEG for apps that can't open HEIC • Inspect any photo or video to see every metadata field before and after cleaning
PRICING Links and text are always free. Photos and videos: 5 free shares, then unlock Rinse Unlimited once with a one-time in-app purchase.
Requires iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later.
