About
You do not track who you want to become. You grow into it.
RIPEN is a habit tracker built on a single picture: you are a tree, and
everything you keep doing is what it grows into.
A leaf is a day you lived it. Not a percentage, not points — one day, one leaf.
Seven days is seven leaves. A year is three hundred sixty-five.
A fruit is a habit that took hold. Every day you keep it moves a count one step
forward; every day you miss pulls that count back — one step, then two, then
three — but never below zero. The fruit sets green when the count reaches
sixty-six, and turns gold the day you root the habit and stop marking it. Once
it is there, it stays.
The tree is black and white, and color in it means one thing only: today’s leaf
is green while the day is still open, and the fruit keeps its color for good.
A fallen leaf is a day you missed. It drops to the ground and stays there. The
app does not hide the days you missed, and it does not punish you for them:
the branch keeps growing.
A cut branch is a habit you ended on purpose. It leaves a stub, not a hole —
that was part of the way you came.
And when a habit is no longer something you have to remember, you root it: the
branch stays on the tree, mature, and the daily marking stops. You do not have
to track for the rest of your life what has already become you.
The tree is drawn from scratch for you and no one else, and it keeps its shape:
tomorrow it is the same tree with one more leaf. It grows with time — a month
in it is small, a year in it no longer fits on the screen.
WHAT IS NOT HERE
No account. No sign-up, no email, no password: the tree lives on your phone.
No percentages, no experience points, no levels, no confetti. There is one
sheet of plain numbers if you ever want them, and nothing counts them at you.
No ads, and no third party watching you.
You can share your tree with a link if you want to, and turn it off whenever
you like. Five things can leave the phone in all, and four of them only when you
ask: that page, a picture or a film when you share one, a problem report, and
ideas and feedback. The fifth is the backup that moves your tree to a new phone,
and it is made by itself.
MOVING TO A NEW PHONE
Ten words. They are the key: the copy on the server is encrypted on your phone
before it goes anywhere, and the key is those words. We cannot read your tree,
and we cannot restore it for you if the words are gone.
WHAT COSTS MONEY
The app is free, and everything above works without paying.
RIPEN Pro is bought once: up to four identities instead of one, each
growing from the trunk; the time machine that runs the day at fifty, five
hundred, fifteen hundred times its speed; sound that keeps playing after you
leave the app; and pictures and films without the RIPEN watermark.
Two more things are sold separately and bought once: a different shape for the
tree, and sweeping the fallen leaves into the soil.
Nothing is a subscription. Nothing expires.
Grow what matters. One day at a time.
