What's New in Rippple

26.8

July 7, 2026

Rippple 26.8 is here with more social activity, smarter list progress, better binge-watching tools, and a freshly polished Pulse. What’s new: * See activity from people you follow directly on media details. * Track your list progress and jump straight to what’s left to watch. * Hide incomplete seasons in Episodes To Watch, because binge-watchers deserve peace. * Add Ratings as its own tab and group them by date or score. * Get better movie release info across Calendar, Pulse, To Watch, and notifications. * Re-tap key tabs to cycle filters faster. Also improved: * Pulse is better at merging duplicate movie releases and reloading without drama. * Postponed episode releases now reschedule at 9am, not evening chaos o’clock. * Watched states, rewatch progress, cast & crew, episode rows, and finale/premiere labels all got some love. * Trakt links have been cleaned up across the app. And fixed: * A few duplicate-entry crashes packed their bags. * Some date parsing, emoji list names, "Open In" titles, progress loading, and rewatching issues were politely escorted out. As always: fewer gremlins, more Rippple.

Great TV Time replacement

I was looking for an app to replace the fantastic TV Time. Rippple checks almost all of the boxes. I’m impressed with all of the features and customization, which made it a no brainer. No other app even comes close. Very pleased with Rippple!

Absolute Perfection In My Eyes

I have been using Trakt for maybe 6 months now & although I believe that it is a very useful service (I primarily use it w/ Stremio integration to auto-track my watch progress + history), I have always absolutely hated their official mobile app. I found it to be annoying to navigate, & harder than it needs to be when trying to access certain things (like my content ratings, for example). This app basically rectifies almost every single gripe I had with the Trakt app. Like the title says, I strongly
believe that every single one of Trakt’s users should be downloading this client & managing their account through here instead.

Now there ARE still a couple of things that I feel are missing from this app, they aren’t critical enough to ruin things for me, but I feel like maybe they’d be easy to implement & it would end up making this a 100% perfect experience instead of just 98%..

#1 — Ratings Sort
Referring to the menu option when you navigate to Profile > Ratings. I just REALLY wish that inside of that menu, you had the ability to sort everything you’ve rated by highest ⭢ lowest. There is an option to filter everything down by individual star ratings, but no true way to view everything in one big list that’s also grouped by # of stars.

#2 — Tab Bar Customization
I feel like this could possibly be a simple one to implement as well? I literally just wish that I had the ability to add that “Ratings” menu which I’ve just mentioned above, down into my main tab bar. That screen is something I tend to access quite frequently, so being able to save me a click each time I want to pull it up & view my ratings would be a super nice feature to have for me personally.

I was really hesitant to test this app out with the star ratings it has, but honestly it seems to me that all of them are just from people who are angry with Trakt because I believe that they bought this app outright from the original developers. I can understand the frustration but also please don’t let those discourage you from giving Rippple a shot; you’ll more than likely absolutely love it just as I have discovered.

Scam and rip off

Paid for Rippple Lifetime, then Trakt bought out this app, deprecated the original one in order to invalidate all of the previous Premium users. Do not use this app. Trakt team are thieves.

Money grubbing Taktv

I hope traktv fails as a company I found value in the $30 plan but refuse to pay $60. More SaaS bs. Double the price with less features

Same great app as before with more features

Still one of my favorite iOS Trakt clients! I understand folks are upset with some recent changes for Trakt, but the app is still maintained by the same developer; they just work with Trakt directly now. Which is actually better in terms of getting new features and issues resolved faster! I still find value in Trakt, to each their own. I hope users who do enjoy the app will share their experience so reviews aren’t just one extreme end of the spectrum.

The Shelf is my number one feature, it’s customizable to include all lists and sections of your account in one place. And To Watch is a great way to organize lists too, which you can use within the Shelf! The new Open In actions add even more personalization.
