Four steps after every run – and a new watch app AFTER YOUR RUN After STOP, a finish screen of its own shows your distance, time and pace, a small map of your route and – when it fits – a seal such as "Personal best". Four steps show where your run stands: planned, run, feedback, result. Your answer to "How hard was it?" now sends itself. Your coach waits up to two hours for it. APPLE WATCH • Before the run, the watch tells you what is missing. Without your iPhone you can still start – saved to Health only. • Calm values in paper white; colour belongs to heart rate and zones. Lower your wrist and the display dims. • "End" now takes a one-second hold. In a pause, one tap resumes the run. • Start, pause, resume and end on the watch each have their own tap on your wrist – as do spectators and warnings. • On race day the second start is called "Warm up". Five minutes before the gun, the watch asks whether you are done warming up. • After the run you get a summary. VoiceOver reads values with their units. PHOTOS AND VIDEOS During a run you film with the ultra wide camera (0.5×) and can show your pace and distance in the video – also in the copy saved to your photo library. Anything that could not be sent during the run waits in the run's "Erinnerung" tab with "Send again". ALSO At the largest text sizes, no value breaks in the middle of a word any more. With "Start & Ziel verbergen" (hide start and finish) on, a THANKS sent from your watch near the start no longer shows a point on the map.
