Photo album access?
I was happy with the app and service. But I recently discovered that this app has access to my entire photo album, with no option to turn off? Why would RLink need access to any users entire photo album? (Settings->Privacy & Security->Photos)
Massive App Improvement
The latest backend update fixed issues with the map, the issue where 100+ stack of notifications would appear in a couple seconds, and the issue where rides aren’t being recorded/retrieved from the current day.
The UI has also been updated. No longer buggy in iOS 18.6.2. Thank you dev team!!

Buggy
App is bugged out. Doesn’t let me login half the time.
Extremely buggy app - do not recommend
At least on iOS 18.5 the app is extremely buggy. Sometimes emits *HUNDREDS* of notifications when the unit has only just moved or been shocked once or twice. Randomly craps out HUNDREDS of notifications when NOTHING has happened to the RLink unit. App Notifications are so poorly formatted and verbose they’re useless, you can’t tell what the notification was for because it will get truncated.
No way to adjust what the unit considers a shock (it thinks that revving a STOCK FJR1300 is a shock alert). Unable to set up geofence at all — I’ve just gotten going with this thing so no contacts in the app, can’t add contacts as the add contact button in the create geofence flow is alternately unresponsive and when it (rarely) responds to the tap the app then inexplicably wants access to ALL my phone contacts.
Trying to go back in screen flows works sometimes, sometimes not. Sometimes it will respond to a swipe right when it’s not responding to a tap on what should be the back button up top, but more often once in a sub screen or flow, if it can’t be completed (see creating geofence) you have to force kill the app.
Whenever you’re entering text fields the save buttons are always underneath the keyboard (which I also blame on Apple because there should always be a way to hide an on screen keyboard) so you have to do back flips to get rid of the keyboard to hit save.

Not sending texts
The Geofence feature is not sending text to the recipients I have selected. Outside of that, this app needs a major overhaul.
Great app
Works exactly hit it’s supposed to and is reliable. Please though remove the big icon on the page that says press to turn on /off alerts. It’s a distracting eye sore. Although it looks like they don’t care about app support.
Very poor app
Not showing directly tracking, always delays and have bunch of bugs!!! Please fix them
Why is there no updates!
This really needs update, it barely works at all and there are many things that need improvement. When is there going to be update?
Good but needs an adjustment
Works as it should but I really wish you would separate the ignition/movement alert option. I’d love to be able to keep movement alert on but switch off ignition alert off as I’ll keep getting alerts each time I start or stop the engine.
Response from developer
Hello Mike, Thanks for leaving a review. Legacy devices like the one you have will send ignition alerts, and our brand new devices will send out Motion alerts instead of ignition alerts. We think you are assuming shock and tilt alerts are represented with motion and this is incorrect. Legacy shock and tilt alerts are combined and controlled by the Shock alert toggle in the Alerts section of the app. So you can still turn off Ignition alerts, and keep Shock alerts on and receive alerts if your bike is being tampered with.
