UPDATE- IT WORKS on Roku Ultra

Developer responded- advised of a Roku software revision, provided a solution.. works well..

Response from developer

There’s a Roku new setting that must be changed to allow Ro To Sleep to function. This setting is located at Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Control by mobile apps from the Roku home screen. This setting must be set to “Permissive” or “Enabled” to allow Ro To Sleep to function.

Does not work on my Roku Ultras..

Where’s the support?

I wrote to the developers several months ago regarding an error that combined days of sleep. They said they’d get back to me. Months later I wrote again. This time no reply. The problem still persists with no resolution (and no response) from the developers.

Sleep timer

I love the fact that I can do this while I’m laying in bed. I don’t have to get up to let my elderly mother know, that it’s time for her to lay down for sleep. So for now she knows that when it’s dark and I’m not in the room. If the TV shuts off on its own. Time for bed. I had to hide the regular remote from her. She would stay up all night. And I know some people say what’s wrong with that? Well, if that happens the next day all she does is fall down and hurt herself.
So, I had to figure something out. As of right now this is working. So, Ty.

FAQ

What does Ro To Sleep do?

Ro To Sleep adds a sleep timer functionality to your Roku player. It allows you to set a specific interval after which your Roku will stop playing content. This is useful for falling asleep without worrying about your stream continuing all night.

How do I use the sleep timer?

After setting the desired timer interval, the app will stop your Roku from playing after that time has elapsed. You do not need to keep the app open in the background for the timer to function.

Does this app turn off my TV?

No, Ro To Sleep is designed to control the Roku player's playback only. It will not turn off your television. You will need to use your TV's remote or a separate function to power off your display.

How many times can I use the timer for free?

You can use the sleep timer feature three times for free to ensure it meets your needs. After these initial uses, a single in-app purchase is required to unlock unlimited access to the sleep timer functionality.

Can this app control multiple Roku devices?

Yes, Ro To Sleep can automatically discover multiple Roku devices on your network. You can also assign custom names to each Roku device within the app, making it easier to select the correct one when setting a timer.
