Absolute garbage app
Connected to camera. Promoted to change password. Camera doesn’t recognise the new password, so completely pointless there. Wish I hadn’t bought this terrible system.
No in-app file preview
I have upgraded SD card. I have uninstalled and reinstalled app. STILL I have zero video recordings visible in the app. I have to remove miscroSD and go to laptop to view anything. Hugely unhelpful when you need to quickly review something. You pay a premium for a product that has £20 Amazon cheap import capability. So far very disappointed.

Doesnt work on newer iphones
Everytime i try to connect it keeps sending me to apps in settings but it doesnt add the actual camera, useless app. How am i meant to see my dashcam footage
Conection issues
Had my road angel halo view for a while now, not only does it not over write old footage to create new, I have never been able to connect my iPhone via the app for love or money there forth the one time I actually needed to review and get footage needed for a incident I was not able to. Ridicules.
Bugs
After setting up the device successfully, In order for it to connect I have to turn on airplane mode with WiFi enabled in order for camera to connect to app each time just so that I can check live camera. My car doesn’t have apple carplay/Android system it never used to be like that until the update for the app. This is a serious flaw that needs to be addressed as it used to connect easily with mobile network enabled I am running iOS 26.4.2 currently please fix thanks

Absolutely useless don’t bother buying this brand the app is awful you can’t connect the camera no matter how many times you try

MPH is never accurate or doesn’t show while watching footage
No way to add MPH to saved footage
Basically this app is so bad you may as well take the SD card out and use a Laptop and still no MPH showing there

Do not use if you have an iPhone
App doesn’t work, connected to WiFi…nothing: when I add recorder just keeps taking me to my App list. Uninstalled and installed app numerous times, restarted camera a few times. Switched my mobile data off and turned off Bluetooth etc. nothing. I’ve emailed the company but no response.

This is easily the worst iPhone app I’ve ever seen in 15 years of iPhone usage. The app gives the impression it’s been written by a child in their bedroom in India. The user experience is massively muddled with the likes of at least 3 different places to view videos. It’s like the author has never used an app on an iPhone before. The messages like “this video is being synthesised please don’t exit this user interface’ tell you the author has poor English. The reliability is non existent with different behaviour every time I use it.
It’s that bad, it should never have been released. Embarrassing Road Angel. Can’t understand why you still allow this junk to form part of your product. I won’t buy anything from you again.

Doesn’t even connect camera…
Had to return camera… it won’t even connect after spending 400 pounds???
Tiresome
Added camera. Followed all iPhone points to set up. All ok. Then it insists I change the WiFi password. I do this. Fking loop. Never works. Waste of time and money when updates are not coming when full of bugs. I would bin the Halo had it not been so f ing expensive.
Setup
App works fine, for those on iPhone to initially register the app you will need to disable your mobile data and then connect to the WiFi of the dash cam which will then guide you through your set-up this worked for me on IPhone 17 Pro Max.
Overall the app is easy to use and use the Road Angel app blue background to activate warranty and register the dash cam

So Easy My Child Can Use it!
Seriously the best dashcam and app I’ve ever used, I’ve had them all over the years. Nexbase never connected and thinkware is far too complicated, blackvue was a total waste of time! Road Angel Wins Hands Down!

this app is dreadful. if I had known how bad it is I would've bought a different dash cam.
Really easy to use and setup
I have seen a lot of bad reviews about this app but from my experience it took me just a few minutes to set everything up and everything works without a problem. The app is pretty simple to use and works every time I use it.
Terrible product
App never works properly, requires reinstall constantly. Box said 4k, camera says 2k. All in all, not very good…
App doesn’t work
App literally does nothing. Tried to add my camera to the app, went through the steps and all it does it open my “default apps” section… there is literally no need for this to be a default app. After exiting the default apps section I went back to the main screen to find the camera still hadn’t been added. Tried a handful more times, got the same result repeatedly and uninstalled the app.
Dash cam works great, app is worse than useless. No point in even downloading it.

Because of a security update to how Dash-cam works you must contact customer service to get instructions to work device.
I’m able to access the camera but you need to troubleshoot it with customer service

App update
Update the app UI and make it better and smoother it’s so complicated and needs serious UI update and compatibility with iOS 26, I mean give that glass UI look make the app modern. The app looks like it come from 1980’s.
