Doesn’t appear in the app
When connecting to the dashcam wifi hotspot it doesn’t appear in the app, it’s the same for both of my cars, the app is rated poorly for a reason,

Sadly this app and camera have never seamlessly worked. Recent accident, cannot connect ! Come on Road Angel
Expected a better app
Instructions provided are useless, I was using an iPhone 17 pro max to connect to a halo elite and I had to turn off mobile data and Bluetooth (I use Bluetooth for Apple car play) before connecting to the halo WiFi. Then the phone connected to the camera and updated WiFi. It didn’t say if the device was registered for the warranty the on the app though.

Change password loop
If the app keeps asking to change your password after connecting. Download the Bentley drive vision app and follow the instructions. It will let you connect to the dash cam. It's made for the road angel halo. Hope this helps
Absolute garbage app
Connected to camera. Promoted to change password. Camera doesn’t recognise the new password, so completely pointless there. Wish I hadn’t bought this terrible system.
