Unspielbar dank der Steuerung
Das Spiel ist dank der äußerst ungenauen Steuerung und keinen genauen Tutorials leider unspielbar. Da kann auch die durchaus gelungene Grafik nichts mehr rausholen.
Excellent game
I love this game but it’s hard to play with mobile phone or ipad - the control clicking is the problem. I would hope one day it can be seen in switch and I will definitely buy it again on switch!

I had this game years ago when it first came out. I got a new phone and somehow forgot about the game. Until today I googled the story because I couldn’t remember the name of the game and I found it within 10 minutes on YouTube! Well I bought it again. I think it was free when it first came out but I bought it this time because I loved it the first time and I have already played for an hour this time. One of the best games on a phone I have played. I’m not sure if you can still get it on PlayStation but I’m going to see if I can download it on PlayStation again too.

Leider auf Apple TV 4 nicht spielbar
Die Steuerung funktioniert nicht. Ich muss zwischen Apple Remote und Playstation Controller hin und her wechseln, um Aktionen auszuführen.
Nach dem Tutorial soll ich ein Menü offnen, damit es weiter geht, was leider auf keinem der Controller funktioniert.
Nach 5 Minuten Spiel, geht es damit einfach nicht weiter.

I really enjoy this game — controls could be better
I’ve had this game for years now and downloaded it pretty much when it came out. I played it on my phone but have more recently been playing it on my iPad, which I find I prefer since the screen is bigger.
I really enjoy the game overall, and how you can build on past iterations of the Ranger and explore different scenarios. I also really like puzzle crafting games and this perfectly scratches that itch.
My only complaint is that the controls can be frustrating at times—it’s an onscreen arrow pad and oftentimes I’ll find that I’ve not been precise enough when I’m using it and I’ll end up going the wrong direction or going further than I wanted which then means I usually get attacked or lose some health. This might just be an iPad issue, though. Similarly, the game crashes on occasion when I’m using my iPad.

Roguelike Puzzler with Steep Learning Curve
Spry Fox makes pretty, high-quality games. This one is no different. The mechanic of moving and throwing objects is interesting and challenging. The game has tons of personality. The tough part is the sheer number of objects is difficult to track and the combinations you can make are sometimes arbitrary and difficult to remember. Many items are strange creatures and spirits and weird trinkets and there isn’t always a clear logic to what you are supposed to do. This makes for a fun game of discovery but as you get deeper into the story the frustration and difficulty rises to the point that the game begins to feel impossible. However the journey is enjoyable and it’s a fun experience despite feeling generally unwinnable. Recommended if you enjoy puzzle games and quirky magical stories.

Get the basic controls right!
Purchased it tonight, playing it on Apple TV and the “menu” button is a KEY button, but does not register in the game. I tried the physical remote, I tried the “remote” app on my phone, I tried the game controller, nothing works to activate that “menu” button. So I played the entry level but now I can’t even advance or even move until I press “menu” which… as I noted… cannot be pressed. What a rip off.

I'm sorry the Menu button isn't working for you. We have heard that the controls don't work properly on some of the newer models of Apple TV, but unfortunately we are no longer updating this game so we can't make it work with the affected versions. I have confirmed that it is still working on my Apple TV (the one where the controls look like this: https://support.spryfox.com/hc/en-us/articles/223798668-What-are-the-controls-for-Apple-TV-RNT-tvOS-version-only- )

Gioco ben fatto con ambienti grafici davvero eccezionali, la storia è molto bella ma dopo un po’ che ci giochi ti annoi. Per me ad un certo punto è diventato molto difficile soprattutto quando scegli di fare la sfida a tempo!

Fun, but you do the first stages and before you know it, it’s way too hard.

Trying to interact with some of the menus can be a pain but the game overall is fantastic. Gets deeper and more interesting the longer you play it and best of all no in app purchases.
Schön aber frustrierend schwer
Die Steuerung ist leider wirklich suboptimal. Weiterzukommen ist ab einem gewissen Punkt übertrieben schwer, was wirklich schade ist. Aber es hat einen ganz eigenen Flair und ist alles andere als ein beliebiges Spiel. Für mich eine besondere App mit Charme und Macken ;)

Good but some parts unplayable
The game is great, but there are some bugs here and there, with certain level can't have conversation nor get married or the game will just freeze completely.
Engaging puzzle, depressing story
While this is a lovely little puzzle game, with an interesting system to figure out, I leave it three stars only because the story and situation are so depressing I simply couldn’t play it anymore. What a downer this game is! However, if you love the idea of repeating a cycle of failure in which you are just never good enough, life isn’t fair, and you find yourself always leaving some sweet children to die in the woods in the cold, surrounded by monsters and witches, because you’re just not up to the task, well, have a great time.
