My wife and I enjoyed the narration along our trip to Hana. We would have been lost without it. Enjoyed hearing about history of Hawaii too.

Hands down made our Road to Hana even more amazing! The guide (we called him Uncle Hank) was great. He was full of amazing facts, humor, and totally helped with directions. $20 is such a good deal. Get this app!!!
Excellent guidance!
We loved the education, the dad jokes, the respectful guidance, and the truth telling raw history. The Garden of Eden, Arboretum & Botanical Garden and Koki Beach ended up being our top two favorite stops on the highway. We missed the first stop to sample the Huli Huli chicken and we REGRET IT!! Once you smell that barbecue, stop for it! We stopped at the Kipahulu Visitor Center and were told that the pools have been closed for almost 7 years now. You can still hike up and see them from above but you definitely can’t walk down and take a dip. All of the trails down to the pools are blocked with gates and signage. We took the full loop all the way around and it was a must with this audio guide. As a first time traveler to Maui, Mahalo and blessings for walking us through this journey.

It was absolutely worth the $20! It was so incredibly accurate down to the timing of when we would get to each marked location. It was extremely chill and upbeat enough to keep everyone engaged and awake. Best app ever!

I’m impressed
I’ve done the road to Hanna with a full tour guide and bus a few times and this was as good if not better. You have the freedom of driving your own car and the knowledge and guidance of the equivalent of a full time guide. And you will lose service during most of the trip however, the app kept going telling us when to turn and it was very very accurate. Really great experience!

5 Stars- absolutely amazing
This guided tour was absolutely phenomenal. If you plan to drive the road to Hana, THIS IS AN ABSOLUTE MUST. I do NOT recommend doing the drive without this! Informative but also perfect navigation. But absolutely make reservations before going or you’ll get 2 hours in and realize you can’t get into some of the coolest spots to see.

A must!
We have the road to Hāna about five times and decided with two teenagers this trip we’d buy the app to keep them occupied during the ride. It was so worth it!! The history, the stops, it’s incredible! It’s pretty neat how he knows where you are and helps you with the navigation. I’d highly recommend purchasing this, well worth the price. I am looking forward to other ones we can purchase.

The Road to Hana
We took the Original route and came back the same way. The tour was fabulous, entertaining and help us through when we had no cell service. It was a must have and learned a few things along the way. The guide was very knowledgeable and easy to listen to. I would highly recommend

I debated between Shaka and this app for a while and am after reading many, many reviewed I’m so happy we went with Gypsy Guide! It felt like we had a personal tour guide in our car!
