Helpful Trip planner

This app is very helpful in finding gas stations and rest areas along the way. This app also is very helpful to find roadside attractions that are close to your route. I also like the feature that helped you find hotels or bed-and-breakfast that are along the route as well

First time campers

Road tripper made our 12 day multi- stop trip so much easier. Open my app & off to the next location! Easy peesey even for a 1st timer!

Terrible Application / SPAM Generator

It's a terrible application. He suggest things that are hundreds of miles away from the route that's put in. It makes matters worse than evidently sell your information to generate a bunch of spam. Including their own and the unsubscribe button does not work

Lame

Purchased and no longer supports my ipad which is not very old. Super lame

Great Concept Poor Execution

I find this app to be extremely hard to navigate. Once a trip is selected it is impossible to make changes. I paid for subscription, I will not be renewing.

Impossible to reroute

Always seems to pick the interstate no matter what. Can’t drag and drop to edit route on the fly. Doesn’t give time along route segments. Canceling

Paywall bait and switch

It wasted my time by allowing me to answer 8 pages of questions for my trip and then prompted me to pay. Ridiculous bait and switch

Great trip planner!

Found a ton of interesting places.

Disappointed

I’m better off with a map and a search engine. Very limited information — only four stops brought up on a 3 1/2 hour road trip. Surely there are markers of Civil War sites l, Native American historical sites — something more than what I was shown. As a matter of fact, I know there were because I passed them. Definitely not worth the money.

A free trial is easily connected to payment like a scam.

This company rejected a request for a refund in less 30 minutes after a payment mistaken for a free trial.

Disappointed

Tried to use the app for the way home, after 5,200 km and found that I needed to upgrade my account and could not use what I had paid for in the beginning.

Excellent app

I was A little Leary about the app. While I’m still learning the basics, the app has exceeded my expectations. Anyone planning on doing some traveling should purchase this app. You will not be disappointed.

Not as good as before

I don’t know if the app had an update or what but it won’t route us over the Bay Bridge tunnel this time and we have gone across it before. Kinda makes me not trust the app anymore. Time to look for a new planner

Better 8 years ago!!!

App user for YEARS! Used to show everything on the map and searches were super easy. Upgrade after upgrade have and change is map services have ruined it. Known restaurants don’t show up, addresses are off by a couple blocks. If you think this is user friendly, it would have blown your mind years ago. Go back to the 2018 app settings….PLEASE!!!

Great Trip Planner

I have used Roadtrippers to plan three major trips. It is easy to use and easy to modify. Two things I wish they would change: 1) being able to change dates without having to delete all dates and starting dates over
2) showing low clearance bridges on routes for those with RV’s.
Overall, I really like this app. I have shared this app with several friends and family.

No refund for an app I tried for 2-3 days

I meant to sign up for a free trial, but accidentally subscribed for a month instead. I was looking for an alternative to Google Maps, tried the app for a couple days and found Google Maps to work better for me. I would’ve been happy to pay for the month of Roadtrippers if I liked it, but I was done with it. When I went to cancel what I thought was my free trial within the 7 days and realizing I’d unintentionally subscribed for a month and without a free trial- I contacted customer support right away. They have refused to offer a refund. I think it’s ridiculous and feel like I’ve been scammed because I hit the wrong button. Had I clicked on the year subscription instead of the month they say it wouldn’t have been an issue, but then again I wouldn’t have been charged cancelling within 7 days, so of course not- that’s why I needed actual customer support to reverse the charge. It was not clear to me that the month subscription doesn’t include a free trial. I think this is confusing and takes advantage of those who aren’t as tech savvy.

Can’t do anything without subscribing

Would be nice if you didn’t have to pay $20 a month to just be able to use it.

Basic should be free

I had this app years ago and it was great to have but I’m not paying a subscription for it

Deleting now

This use to be the only way I would plan a road trip now its telling me I can’t even plan without a paid subscription.

Lousy trial

Can't do what instructions say.
