Great for Beginners
Give me back the old interface! This app update is a step backwards.
I know my cuts of meat and what they are supposed to look like when cooked. I usually have the roast in front of me and look to the app for appropriate cooking times depending on cut of roast. The previous interface would allow me to select a roast, input weight and then it would provide me with approximate cooking time for the degree of doneness. I know my guests and their eating habits from previous experience. I just don’t find this app helpful at all.
Also, once you are in the roast selection process you can’t back out and select a different option. You need to close the app and start over.

Awful App
The new revised app is garbage. Previous app had a timer set up with notifications. There was no way you could fail a perfect roast. Now it’s completely different and no where near as helpful as it was. Looks like I’m gonna have to find an app that is the same as the original Roast Perfect because this newer version is garbage.

Bring back the timer clock
Please bring back the timer clock. I was so disappointed to see it gone from the app now. It was so much nicer before with it
Change it back
I used this app forever for timing and temperature guidance it was perfect. The app update has removed the old built in timer and even though you can find times and temp it’s not as easy to find or use as it was before the update.
Terrible Upgrade
I used this APP for years only to find out that an upgrade was made and it’s not user friendly at all. My roast was perfect, every time. I’m now on the hunt for a new APP and I’m very disappointed. I recommended this to so many people now I won’t be doing that anymore.
New Interface is Awful
I loved this app and used it for almost 2 years. It used to be great but since the new update is just plain awful. The new app interface is nothing more than a marketing machine. The features that made this app awesome in the past are gone. Really disappointed …. I’m now trying out other roasting apps. I can no longer recommend this one

Hate the New App
I was using the OLD Roast Perfect App for 2 years and it was the Best. They recently updated the app and now it nothing but a marketing machine. The new app design is horrible, difficult to navigate, not as informative as the previous app and the count down timer feature is GONE!
You need to navigate through pages of advertising ... What Happened. The previous app was PERFECT.
What's odd is the Roast times and temperatures are different in the new app interface compared to the old app. Really strange, this is a huge disappointment and downgrade. I will look for something else.

Made my first prime rib yesterday using this app and it came out absolutely perfect!!!

Crash after selecting the roast

So i downloaded this app and have not been able to get past picking the cut of meat I am using because the app simply crashes. I have deleted and reinstalled it 5x’s but still problem persists. This is the only app that does this on my phone

I love this app … when it works. I have tried downloading it on all my devices and it continues to crash no matter what I do. Please fix the app!

When setting up the timer or changing the type of roast will stop working.
No longer works
I used this app religiously and it was always a perfect timer. Really disappointed that the week before Thanksgiving the app no longer works and crashes anytime I try to create a timer. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and still nothing.
Timer not working anymore
Used to be a good app for time the prime rib. Now the timer doesn’t work anymore. Always crash when you select it, just like others said.

From Great to useless
Worked wonderfully in the past, now when I choose a roast from timer the app closes. Totally useless now.
Timer could use some minor adjustments
The app is overall very handy, but the timer app could use some work. Mostly, it would be nice if it told you what temperature you were looking for (or a range) in addition to giving cooking time for more precise cooking. It would also be nice if there was a way to adjust time for convection ovens, as they are pretty common in modern kitchens; especially since the temperature is not given. Ideally adding both would be fantastic. As it is you need to be referencing temperature charts as well as the timer when using the app to get to your ideal doneness regardless of the type of oven you have.
It seems like the timer overestimates cooking time, as if it is expecting you to have a low quality oven with a lot of heat loss, and one that does not have different modes for bake and roast (let alone those with convection option, as stated above) If following the instructions for rare in many of the cuts I would have a very well done roast (my oven is calibrated and quite accurate with or without convection).
