Still fun like last time, but whatโ€™s with the robots directly engaging the enemies?

I love the game but whatโ€™s with direct engagement? Ants Vs Robots and Robot Colony had the defenders stay at the base, but this one makes the defenders look like attackers instead โ€œDefendersโ€
Overall the game is still really good.
