Hate I am not paying

I’m not paying not smart one star

Don’t downland

It gives you three goes and on my first one it said it couldn’t identify it like what

Response from developer

Hey, sorry to hear about your experience! Our recognition technology works best with good lighting and a clear, centered shot. We're constantly improving the model!

Don’t get this app

You only get two scans a day and it is incorrect. You have to buy premium to get more than one scan a day.

Response from developer

Thanks for your honesty, really. We’re currently testing different limits to balance free usage and keep the app running (AI scans aren’t free on our side). We bumped it up from 1 --> 2 + 3 free welcome scans. That said, we’re actively working on improving the daily scan limits, while being a sustainable business. If a scan felt incorrect, feel free to try another angle or lighting, we’re continuously training the model to get better with every update. We hear you, and your feedback is exactly what helps us improve 🙏

Doesn’t work

I tried to scan Dwayne the rock Johnson and it didn’t work and the app states that it is a rock identifier

Response from developer

We tried… turns out he’s not actually a rock. So we can confirm: Dwayne Johnson is still human.

Very good

Awesome, accurate. Helped me identify my dock collection!

Love this!

Accurate, fast and reliable. Thank you!

Response from developer

thanks so much for this feedback!

Accurate

I‘ve downloaded quite a few of these rock identifiers and this is the most accurate yet

Response from developer

thank you very much for this feedback. we will keep training the model to improve the accuracy further!

Suggestion

Ok, I downloaded this app because I wanted to scan my gems and rocks that I have. Then I found out you get ONE free a day. Look, I get it, you want money for working hard to develop the app, and that’s reasonable, but I think you should do adds instead. I will get frustrated for 30 seconds from an ad and that’s it, but I will be frustrated every time I wanna scan rocks because I have to pay for it. Now, this is still up entirely to you, but I think that you should use ads instead as you will most likely make more money than you are now because looking at the reviews, I don’t think many people are paying for the subscription. Thanks for reading! Please think about what I said, as I just want you to be more successful and I wanna scan rocks!!

Response from developer

hey thanks a lot for writing all that out, really appreciate it. we’ve talked about ads before but we were worried they might ruin the experience for some people. you make a good point tho, and we’ll definitely look into testing ads so ppl can scan more without paying. thanks again for caring enough to share your thoughts, means a lot 🙏

Let us have more pictures

This is just dumb and stupid. Why would you only let your consumer get one free photo it should at least be 5 and most ten. If a consumer came through your app and tried to take a picture and then wanted to take another one then got hit with the paywall, there probably gonna delete your app cause it shows how everything is limited. Realistically any sane person would know it’s not worth it to spend money on rocks. I get it you need money but you don’t always gotta squeeze it out of your consumers.

Response from developer

We hear you and we made some adjustments! You're right and we heard it a couple of times: Free users should get more scans. Right now, we decided to raise the free limit to 3 free scans for new users in addition to getting one free scan every day. We'll experiment with this threshold and if it's financially sustainable (covering API, development costs etc.) we will consider raising the free threshold even more! Thanks so much for your valuable feedback!! Update coming within the next days!

This is bad

Why the flip do we have to pay to scan rocks this is dumb

Response from developer

Hey, thanks for your feedback. Sorry for the inconvenience man, but we have to charge something to break even for the API and development costs plus a little margin. You get one scan per day for free tho and we will discuss your feedback in our team and consider raising the free treshold, so thanks again for your feedback and your opinion. PS: You can also try the premium version for free for three days btw!

TOP APP :)

Funktioniert wie es soll

Response from developer

One of the best!

It‘s the most reliable identifiers I’ve come across.

Response from developer

Thank you so much! We will continue to improve.
