Rodewatch: Anchor & Race

The anchor alarm that can tell you whether it was actually watching. Every anchor app shares one silent failure: it can lose the GPS fix, get suspended by the system, or quietly stop — and you find out in the morning, if at all. Rodewatch is built around that problem. THE NIGHT REPORT — new in 1.1 Disarm in the morning and Rodewatch shows you the night it actually kept: • The minutes the watch was blind — measured from real events, not guessed from gaps in a file • The arc you truly swung, and how much of the circle you set was ever used • Furthest and average distance from the anchor, and every alarm, with the time it happened • The whole night as a GPX export The question at breakfast is "did we drag, or did the GPS wander?" Until now no anchor app could answer it, because none of them remembered the night. The recorder is architecturally separate from the alarm. A build gate fails if the alarm engine ever learns the recorder exists — a full log, a rejected fix or a thinning pass cannot change what the alarm decides. The alarm is a safety feature and nothing was allowed to sit between it and your wrist. ANCHOR WATCH — free, and staying free • Drop the pin over your anchor, set the swing radius with the crown, sleep. • A sailing workout session keeps the watch alive with the screen off; GPS runs continuously. • Accuracy-aware alarm logic — confirmation over 2, 3 or 4 consecutive fixes, plus hysteresis — cuts false alarms from GPS noise. • Swing map plots your recent track around the anchor. No charts, no servers, fully offline. RACE START — free • 5-3-1 sequences with sync-to-the-minute, haptic cues every minute, at 30s, 10s and 5-4-3-2-1 to GO. MAN OVERBOARD — free • One tap marks the spot; live bearing and distance guide you back. PRIVATE BY ARCHITECTURE The app contains no networking code of any kind. Not "we don't sell your data" — there is no code that could send it. Your position never leaves the watch. No account, no sign-in, no analytics, no third-party SDK.
