Still testing the app
This app forces you to choose between paying for it or writing a review to use it for free. It’s a bit like viewer blackmail. I haven’t had a chance to test it yet, so not sure if I’ll like it but as long as it works like the remote that came with it, it will be just fine.

Thought I was gonna have to buy a new Roku or remote when my remote stopped working. Luckily I found this app and didn’t have to spend money to get a new one! This app works amazing! Highly recommend 10/10!!!
The Roku Remote Control On My iPhone
It’s Marvelous To Have Your Remote Control On Your iPhone And not have to look for another Remote be in control of your television. Changing the settings, sounds stations, along with streaming services without having to search for the location of other devices is a dream come true.
Did not work at all.
I lost my remote to my Hisense TV and I tried to use this until I found the real remote. It never worked. Couldn’t get the tv on, so I ended up using my iPad mini to log into and watch Netflix. It’s crazy they want to charge a monthly reoccurring cost for something that simply cannot be used. Now, I’ve sent a few emails to make sure I won’t be banged each month for something unusable (and I found my original remote that belongs to my tv) so now there is no need for this app, and nobody has responded to my inquiry. Don’t do it! Save yourself the headache!

Saved the day when I needed it!
This app works pretty well over all. Occasional glitches happen, but if I reset the app it works again quickly. Thankful this app was available when I couldn’t find the Roku remote.
Best Remote for Smart TV
The remote for my Roku tv stopped working after just 3-months of using my brand new tv. My family and I were very disappointed we could no longer use our brand new tv. However, this app saved us from having to buy another tv as well as an universal remote. Why have a universal remote when you can use this app! Best discovered app.

Remote on my phone
Are used to have it on my phone and I somehow deleted it. I was trying to change the password and when I hit delete password, it deleted everything so I’m trying to get back the free remote on my phone. I had it and I loved it. It was very convenient, especially when I lost my remote or I wanted to hear it on my phone through the air plugs

Paying
I don’t understand why someone would make you pay for something that should be free. I honestly don’t know why people don’t think to mention that you need to pay inside the app. The app also does not mention anything about paying for things either. Personally I just don’t think this app is worth $40 because its a remote that you use for your tv, that is usually $8 (depending on the kind of remote you want).

I have been very impressed with the content and assistance provided by Roku. I am currently trying to set up an older Emerson tv I do not have a remote or Roku device for. I already have 2 tvs set up for Roku. Keep up the good work!!
Roku Awesomeness
By being able to use your phone as a remote makes it more easy to access your tv without hesitation! Not to mention if the dog ate the remote (lol)

My son is storing his belongings at our house while he finds a place to live. So I put his tv in my craft room to be able to stream all my shows….my current tv is NOT a smart tv, so I barely watch it. Packing his stuff he forgot which box the remote is in….silly kid! Mom told you to tape it to the back if the tv.
Anyway, we got it all set up and I googled how to use the tv controls without the remote. And guess what? It says there’s an app for that. So here I am THANKING Roku for this option. It has made this non tech grandma able to watch the tv and control it through my phone….how cool is that!!!! I know I know..other tvs probably have that too. But I’ve never had a smart tv before. However, when my son wants his tv back, I will definitely be buying a smart tv!!!

Works perfectly
I lost the remote for my existing Roku, and my remote from an older model didn’t work on the one that I use as my main TV. Thankfully, I found this app and was able to use my phone as my remote. Now, I never have to worry about losing another remote. (I’ll probably find the remote in six months in an unexpected place, like the freezer.)

It’s absolutely amazing to have this remote on your phone truly at your finger tip that way you always know where the remote is, with family husband, kids & grandkids coming over you never have to wonder where it at or if it accidentally feel into the grands diaper bag because it’s right on your phone, so thanks for making this such a convenient accessory when it comes to remotes for television! Missing remote
I use it when the children miss place the hand remote and I can’t find it. I know I can go to my phone and change the tv.
Good Option to Replace Missing Remote
Couldn’t find the remote so this was recommended. Nice to not have to buy a whole new one and easier functionality to type on searches.
Great remote
Works wonder. I always lose my remote when falling asleep watching my tv. I always know where my phone is which means that I can easily access my tv with out having to search an hour for my remote!!
Roku Review
I love using the Roku app on my iPhone I can do so many things. I have lost my Roku remote to my television and now all I have to do is open up the app on my phone and select whatever I want is right here between my two thumbs!
