Couldn’t figure out how to use it

Interface sucks

A rip off and scam

Worthless if you don’t pay for a subscription, even after I canceled my subscription they continued to charge me and customer service, if it even exists, never replied to my inquiry about a refund

Terrible.

95% of the users that I message, or message me, end up getting banned.
How can we get anything accomplished if you keep banning people?

Dead app

No one responds. All postings are months old. Premium for most features. Avoid

Didn’t Work

I specifically asked to only be roommates with other women. It still let men contact me and I felt extremely uncomfortable. I deleted the app.

Require Too Much just to Browse

You have to create an entire profile to even browse listings. Which was annoying and it felt invasive, but I wanted to use the app. Then it required a profile picture. It will not let you browse any listings without a profile picture for “safety”. I mean never mind that I don’t want my information out there for other people to see while I’m just browsing. We have to keep one of the thousand roommate search apps “safe” by requiring you to upload a picture. We have no mechanism to verify that it’s even you, but you have to do it for “safety”. That’s just entirely too invasive for no reason.

No One Uses This In NYC

The app has a nice format, and easy to post. But I seriously get more matches on obsolete bad dating apps than this platform.

I live in NYC, the roomate capital of the world, and in the 6 weeks I had my listing up, I got 2 responses.

I found a roomate within 24 hours posting on FB Marketplace.

Three Day With a Boosted Listing & Nothing

The app has a nice format, and easy to post. But I seriously get more matches on obsolete bad dating apps than this platform.

Can’t choose Christian roommate

I am looking to help my son find a Christian roommate. When I was single, before internet, it was simple. There were listings posted at my school, in the newspaper. Now it is impossible to find a Christian roommate.

Ineffective

Waste of money and time. No inquiries at all not a single one. Not even a click.

Terrible roommate app

This app is filled with bugs, search queries do not function as expected, and filters are terrible. Not enough people using this app to find a roommate! Waste of money. Roommates.com is so much better!

This app treats itself like a dating app

It’s not a dating app

Scam app

This app is full of scammers don’t bother

Lacks Utility and buggy UI

When looking for a roommate, there’s no ability to filter for people who have added profile images or descriptions which means you have to look through a lot of informationless accounts. Also, ‘find a roommate’ feed feels more like a dating site. Few people actually post descriptions that let you get to know them and there are very few images that let you get to know the person and I did not encounter a single video.

The UI is super buggy. I spent an hour writing a description for our apartment and had to switch to my browser really quick to validate a link I was adding and my entire description disappeared. Also, I could not see where I was typing half the time because my keyboard blocked the view and the magnification tool was not working for the same reason.

Also, being asked if you’re comfortable with LQBTQ is odd. I can see why it would be included but that information is just publically displayed. If someone wasn’t comfortable with LGBTQ, people of that community just shouldn’t see apartments that don’t accept LGBTQ and renters shouldn’t see LGBTQ when searching for roommates. Otherwise it’s a huge breach of privacy.

People 2 Far!!

radius set is t whats rendered. 1 person’s listing was 5 months old ..messaged 3 people then it asked for $. rommies dot com way better!

Very Few options

There are very few roommate options. I received close to 500 messages in 2 days and when I go to look at them the messages all seem to be bots. The profiles are all generic and fake. I’m weary this app is a scam. Beware. Don’t waste your money.

Please stop with the ads

Can the creator of this app fix the bugs, lags, and constant errors that pop up every few seconds,I can’t even message people on this app,Not only that but isn’t this the entire purpose of the app is to reach out to people if your renting a room/apartment or your looking for a room/apartment to rent, the constant glitches make almost impossible to use this app with then ultimately make it useless!
I’ve reach out to people on this app and I strongly doubt that there even on the app anymore because the way the app functions is truly discouraging and makes it difficult for anyone to stay on this app.

Not sure how to feel overall

At least better than rooster in that it’s not all paywalls, but super glitchy

It's a scam!

Paid for a week to see the messages, they are all fake! Scammed me into paying to see them and can't believe it. Seemed fishy to begin with. Straight robbery and unforgivable crime.
