I can’t even log into my account and it’s been over a year. I need to look for new roommates and i’m unable to without an invitation link, i had a link and it still wouldn’t let me log in “without an invitation link”. I tried contacting the support team and received no answer and now the app glitches out anytime i try to do anything on it.

Glitchy beyond belief
Probably one of the glitchiest apps I have ever used. A solid 90% of the time messages I send disappear within a minute. Of the ones that go through and get a response, 75% of them I’ll see a notification of a response come in and when I go and check it, half of my chats are just gone.
App doesn’t work
Can’t even contact support thought the app bc it doesn’t work. i use my invitation link to register then it tells me i need an invitation link like i didn’t just use one and confirm it’s me. i’ve used this for three years now and it’s NEVER gotten our roommates right, it always sets us up with random people after we’ve confirmed roommates. just a terrible app or company overall DONT USE IT.

Found my perfect roomie!!
The app is pretty self explanatory and not difficult to use, and thanks to it I found the most amazing Roomie ever!! We had a 100% match on the app and it was very accurate - thank you!!
Very buggy
The concept of the app was extremely enticing, but RoomSync was ineffective at best and infuriating at worst. My main issue came when me and my friend both made profiles on the app and were trying to match with each other. Despite searches across several days and checking every detail possible, our profiles never showed up for each other. We contacted RoomSync several times to no avail, and when we eventually tried to just join the same room with other people we could both see to try and force our profiles to connect, the join button didn’t work. This was exhausting and stressful and I typically don’t write reviews for anything but I feel this experience warrants one.

Ok ? So I just downloaded this app hoping to find a room mate my cup of tea 🫖 and the app won’t let me use my Apple account I been a long time apple user since I was teenager I am now 27 years old and this app is for some reason saying my Apple account doesn’t work like ? WTh 🤦♀️ what’s the point of having the apple feature on the app if ? It doesn’t let u sign in or make account and in fact the app was featured on the news 🗞️ it’s messed up that the app doesn't let u sign in or make a new account!!

literally useless
i have the app in order to find roommate matches, an im never given any options!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i’m constantly being logged out of my account forcefully and i never get any room mate suggestions.
Has significant flaws but overall usable
Swiping through roommates is kind of fun but the app categorizes some matches as “good” when there are obvious dealbreakers like different preferred roommate arrangements and significant class or age differences. Beyond that, you can’t chat with anybody after your matching date, which means you need to take an initiative in exchanging socials off-app if you want to keep talking. I guess what I’m trying to say is that there’s great potential but it is just disappointing when looking deeper into it.

Compatibility ratings make no sense
I see profiles that are a near perfect match based on their answers and yet it says we are 0% compatible... kind of defeats the purpose of the app.
There is also no way to sort profiles by gender.

Good concept, needs lots of work.
My college uses this app and I’m not a fan.
Making a profile and finding people is simple and effective, but the app is so glitchy beyond that.
To give a few examples of problems I’ve had:
- Message threads have disappeared.
- People I’ve matched with will disappear and reappear.
- It sent a message to the wrong person even though I was in the right chat room.
- I have to create another account because my first account was deactivated prematurely.
My peers have also had those issues, and it makes the process more difficult than it needs to be. Overall, I would not suggest RoomSync.
