Rove Dash Cam is one of best Dash Cam I ever seen. It has great resolution so pictures are very clear

This is very similar in functionality but with the backup cam.
Excellent detail on both cameras. Setup was pretty easy and straightforward. I did need some minor help from their Tech support and they were very pleasant, knowledgeable and patient. Excellent dash-cam especially as I had the previous version.

Great camera so far
Haven’t been able to use it out on the road much, but it is a very nice camera easy to use and certainly glad it is installed in our Brand new outback
Witness to a crash
I had a car crash a month ago and without this video recording, I would not have a witness as to who was it fault. My claim got approved within 24 hours because of the dash cam. I love my dash cam!
It works
It works without fail, has a good picture day or night, and if you attach the circular polarizer that they offer for sale, the polarizer needs to be adjusted for your windshield to reduce reflections, not for the sun as a typical of polarizers in general.

Good Dash Cam, But Quality Could Be Better
The ROVE dash cam is good overall, but the quality wasn’t quite what I expected. The video quality is decent, but I was hoping for something even better and more premium. I’m giving it 4 stars because it’s still a good camera. Hopefully, future models will offer truly exceptional, classy, and top-of-the-line image quality.

Great camera system. It is easy to use and has great recording quality.

So much more user friendly then the Tiger cam from China with zero customer service and much better then Rexing that with zero guidance on setting up or watching playback
False advertised
This dashcam is nothing but garbage. It’s a nightmare to transfer a 3 minutes video wirelessly. It loses connection frequently. Most annoying is when it keeps saying video was downloaded without ever downloading. Then it requires full access to save video, on iphone other apps need only add only.
Can’t retrieve
I was recently involved in a head on collision. The camera picked up everything up until two seconds before the impact. I am not able to unlock that and see what actually happened.
Pretty horrible
App needs serious improvements. Says downloaded videos but not saved, and doesn’t let retry

I’m new to this Rove dash cam. It was easy setup and installation for my 2010 Highlander. I’m lazy reader but force myself to read carefully,lol. I’m old man retired not easy to get under dashboard but use mirror to get better look before to install a location. Thanks got enough room to work on. My car is excellent condition. Mileage is now 193,933. I’ll see next review later on, sweet 🧏😁

Bad
The old UI definitely needed updating but at least it worked. Now it’s impossible to get access to the videos even if you allow full access to your photo/video library…which no one should agree to. It took me 30 minutes of trying to connect to download one video which it said downloaded but never actually added to my phone or to the local album built into the app! What’s the point of the local album in the app and why would you need full access to my library if the app has its own folder? Curious how the design of this was thought out.
