Amazing music collection
The music collection in the Rovr app is incredible. I was amazed by the variety of tracks and genres available. There’s something for every mood and occasion, and it’s easy to discover great music. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a diverse and enjoyable listening experience.

Love this app, very intuitive UX design. My only note is that I wish the visual elements advertised and promoted on their social media were also housed on the app

Need I say more than that, this app is absolutely, the best in music discovery, curation djs, and multi-genres. I just found this and have found my way back to human curated, hand-picked radio without the algorithm. When I'm not listening to ROVR I love my vinyl, but, that's another story for later. Follow my substack for more of that. Lol. But, this is the go-to music app over Apple, Siriusxm, all of them, because they cover all the bases and there are no ads or chatter. The UI is clean, accessible with voiceover as a blind user, and something that truly is on and with me since I discovered it a couple weeks ago, every day, around the house, at work, on the rower, the moods, archives and general schedule is more than enough to keep my ears and musical soul happy. Thank you guys, and keep growing and being awesome!! You go right along with my Bose Qc Ultra 2nd gen headphones, a solid integral part of every day life. Thank you!!

Awesome radio, awesome UI
First thing I noticed was the incredible AI. Super simple, and unique. I love the early 2000’s radio screen vibe it’s got. The lo-fi, monochromatic coloring is something I have not seen in any other app I’ve used.
One suggestion, if you give us the option to change the color scheme, like maybe black and white, orange, red, etc. Would be nice to customize even just that much, I don’t want much more than that!

Great music, glitchy app
Just downloaded the app, and am really struggling to do anything except listen to an archived show. Can’t seem to save more than one show at a time. And it’s not intuitive at all. Having said that, the music is definitely worth the struggle. Hoping they make this easier to use in the very near future.

Amazing curation and selection, high quality audios, songs you’ve surely never heard of before, 24/7 streaming. Just good vibes all around. I never write reviews for apps but I felt the need to praise this one.
Excellent for music lovers
Awesome app for discovering new music. The DJs are tasteful and the playlists are jammin. App is super intuitive and the option to like songs from shows is genius.

Small things could be fixed but free app
Pretty good app, but hoping in the future it’ll be easier to categorize curators/tracks you find. If you make music or enjoy finding samples/deep cuts, I you enjoy it for what it is
Great but needs work
Nice direct way for people who are into DJ mixes to find cool curated sets. Curators are great I was already familiar with some of them before downloading the app. There is some functional issues with the app though. The buttons to save curators and sets don’t really seem to work. Also is occasionally plagued by long load times when playing a new set. Hope y’all can work on this and keep going.

Thought it would make me discover new music
This is just an online radio 🤣. I will say their marketing team is good for framing the online radio as “music curating”. Its random music radios which are posted by random people. There is no taste matching with your spotify or anything.
Great discovery
A lot of good and niche music, the app itself works well too and I really like that they tell tracks’ ID so I don’t have to shazzam, moreover, there’s a star icon to save what’s being played to a list.

Really nice little radio app with a select few dj’s from both sides of the pond mainly. Each plays sets with their own genres,I’m quite new to this app but so far I’ve found it really good. Quite funky mixes from the likes of Muallem will suit those of you who stepped thru the 80’s/90’s and into current times…

How does ROVR work?
A lot of the latest apps are very unclear as to describing precisely what they do and what to expect. They take you through a lengthy signup that ends up revealing the app to be of no use, no, interest, can only be used while signed in, and/or is more expensive than what is on offer. Plainly stated, there is a trend towards most apps amounting to a waste of time and I’d prefer to avoid that.
With this app, “algorithm free” music streaming really appeals to me. But honestly, it doesn’t really describe what ROVR is or precisely how it works.
I’ve attempted to search reviews or demos on the web, but have found nothing.
If someone could share precisely what ROVR is, how it works, and what to expect, I’d be grateful.

Lazy and Incomplete
Someone tell the graphic designers working here the difference between 12pm and 12am. App design is lazy and plenty of under designed aspects (things as simple as fonts being the same color as the background). There’s also not a lot of electronic music variety on this app. Mainly hyperdub.
