User reviews

best news app

After artifact shut down I was a bit lost where to go but Ruby has by and large filled that gap for me, imo the experience is much better than any news I would consume from twitter, instagram, Facebook, etc… 6/5 stars!

The best news app ever!

This app is so well designed, I love it! The app icon selection is really good too. Highly recommend!!!

App does not work

I am unable to load any news articles. Keeps giving an error of unable to fetch news articles. I have tried different internet connections and uninstalling/reinstalling. Still not working. It appears I am not the only one that is having this issue. Hopefully the developer will fix this issue.

Response from developer

Issue has been fixed temporarily, and we're working on a long term patch that's already been deployed on visionOS and will soon be on the iOS version. Thanks for your patience, and sorry for the inconvenience. Update: 2.1 now fixes the issue permanently.

Unresponsive developer and buggy app …

App has a limited number of articles at any given time. Right now, the technology articles don’t work right. I emailed the developer several times with no reply. Disappointed at the arrogance of the developer in not replying and the limited nature of the app. Do not buy. Do not support.

Waste of 89p

App doesn’t load - please can I have my 89p back?

Response from developer

Sorry that you had this experience, some things regarding the API happened that were out of our control. With the launch of Ruby 2.0, everything should be very solid - would you be willing to give it another go and revise your review? Also feel free to reach out to me at apps@michaelb.nyc to talk about anything.
