Unusable, unfortunately
There are a lot of bugs with this app now. I only made it about three minutes before giving up. When you first start coding, the keyboard pops up and pushes the code off the screen, so you can’t see what you’re writing. The screen blinks in and out frequently, like a strobe light at a concert. And as another reviewer mentioned, basic Ruby methods (not from Rails) are mysteriously missing. In sum, you just aren’t going to get anywhere with this app.

Flippin awesome.
Great App
Only thing I can say is you could have some better tutorials for beginners other than that it’s a great app
Very useful for outside work!
I must make my ruby program only by iPhone. I can do that to use this Rubylist by using iPhone 13 + ELECOM OSMOD Six + ELECOM Ultra Slim Keybord. Thanks a lot!

Some native methods not recognized
Great scripting app for iPad. However, there are some native methods like even and odd are not recognized by the app and i am getting method not found. I made sure i am using an integer when I invoked the methods.
Ruby scripting on iPhone
I use this as I’m reading Ruby books. It’s a great tool to have if you want to play around with Ruby. The editor is great as well, well thought out with having the Tab button. It would be nice to have a reverse tab.
Ruby on iPhone is easy
Just installed and started writing Ruby code in seconds.

Nice
Awesome
I don’t usually write reviews. But this app is AMAZING. I love the ability to create widgets with Ruby & test HTTP requests, etc. all from my iPhone! I highly recommend this app! Thank you to the Dev/Devs.
Useful but flawed
First the good news. This app works. You can write & execute Ruby code on your iPad. That is useful. However: When you get an error, all you get is the error message (e.g. SyntaxError) you don’t get any information about where the error occurred forcing you into print debugging. Paste is broken so moving code about becomes an extreme chore. After you run the code the editor jumps to the end of the file. It’s also a bit erratic from time to time. Nothing I can pin down but odd completions, jumps, or inserted characters. The MRuby documentation doesn’t appear to be searchable for contain actual descriptions or examples of the methods listed. It would be nice to have a side-by-side mode.

Glad it's there, few wishes
I am so ridiculously glad this exists... I love working in Ruby over the other similar iOS/iPadOS extension frameworks with Lua, JavaScript or Python, even with the slightly limited standard library this app exposes.
If I had to ask for anything, I'd like to see slight improvements to the editor like font face/size selection to make it easier to use.

Actually useful
I love writing Ruby but was skeptical of what this app would be able to do. I'm blown away. Provides an opportunity for folks to play with Ruby wherever they are and actually provide value to power users for Shortcuts and Widgets. One of my favorite apps on my phone and iPad!
Incredible
By far the best Ruby on iOS app I’ve seen. Frankly, I’m amazed at the Shortcuts and Widget integrations. Thank you for making this freely available!!
