Like my title said they had it in cm and I couldn't change it to inches without paying. I even tried to see how many cm are in inches but it was really hard to tell. It's free and no ads but still🙄

Seriously Hot Garbage
The app has very sharp and professional looking graphics, which is what made me think I should take a risk on buying the application. Unfortunately the reference object concept is completely unusable. If I want to get a measurement it has to be something small enough that you can drag lines around to mark a reference object.
Really? Am I supposed to tape a quarter to the side of my garage and then try to zoom in enough to put the reference lines on the quarter?
I believe they are simply counting on the fact that you can't get a refund and even if you could wouldn't go through the hassle for $1.99. Don't bother.

I have used this handy ruler with inches on one side + centimeters on the other. Very handy! Now it only shows centimeters on both sides. If I still want inches I must pay a regular fee. Uh—no. I need no special features; just a simple ruler. I’m deleting it.

I paid for this app years ago and thought I should finally leave a review. I think it cost $3 and I use it all the time. I known iPhones have a measure app but I always go for this one.
App was great until paid upgrade
I bought the paid version of this app years ago but now it doesn’t work on my new iPhone. Bummer. Back to this version with ads.

.…and put behind a paywall. Pretty disappointing behaviour, reduce what the app does and then charge for no other extra features. Cynical in my view. Will delete and use a real measure.
Free Version Sucks
Not sure what this app is like if you pay for it, but the ruler only works in centimeters. You cannot measure in inches for free. I understand charging more for advanced measuring features, but who would ever pay money to measure something with their 5 inch phone? lol
