It’s sad because this company was highly regarded for its app and cameras and now it’s just broken unless you want to drop another 200+ on a new camera. You can’t even use the live preview with the app to camera just a laggy playback feature when you record blindly fix it for the people please

Works every time. For it being an older app it’s super easy to understand how to setup stuff. I have the Runcam 5 orange, works great!
Wi-Fi connection is terrible
Horrible. Frequently (Most of the time) locks up and requires you to remove the battery on the camera to reset. How is this a product?

Waste of money. Stay away from this product. Unless you like wasting your money. Customer service is pretty much non- existing
Great app and cameras
I’ve been using a Runcam 2 and a Runcam 3 for several years on my FPV quadcopters. They have taken a lot of abuse through multiple crashes and have continued to work reliably. The app is stable and very functional as it allows full configuration of the camera as well as controlling all features remotely through the app. All around a great app for some durable cameras. 🤙

Para visualizar los videos no es lo mejor, recomiendo extraer la tarjeta en caso de tener un celular que lo permita o visualizar los videos en Pc mediante cable.
La app fuera de lo anterior la veo muy bien, puedes configurar la captura de imagen, brillo saturación etc. además que te permite visualizar cómo quedó la imagen antes de empezar a grabar mediante conexión wi-fi, no gasta mucho espacio, y cumple con las exigencias.

Cheap Chinese Junk
Brand new out of the box with a fully charged battery and all software updated this app constantly crashes.
The camera successfully records about 1 in 3 attempts and also constantly crashes with the battery terminal having to be removed to reset it, and the manual actually specifies how to deal with this as it happens so often. After hours of trying I’ve so far managed to have the camera operate for 15 minutes before seizing up.
Pathetic waste of money, buy a go-pro and avoid knockoff low quality garbage like this.

Doesn’t work with Thumb Pro W
Go this cam for FPV because it’s lighter than my Insta360.
This app looked promising, but the camera won’t recognize the QR code no matter what I try. Stupid way to do it anyway. No reason why they didn’t have it connect via Wi-Fi, Bluetooth or even the provided usb cable to a pc to change settings.
Not being able to do that and set the shutter speed makes the camera useless to me.
App also crashes when contacting support.
Seems like actual QA/testing was not done.
Fix the app and/or the hardware.

Disappointed
I had the same issue expressed by others on connecting to the app when I purchased two years ago. Sad to see that since then the same issues persist.

Ao conectar no Wi-Fi o app não exibe os vídeos. Fica travando o tempo todo. Os desenvolvedores e equipe de testes devem dar atenção a esse problema urgente!
Manque de navigation sur la vidéo
L’application est bien mais pourrais être encore mieux. On ne peux pas faire avancer la vidéo rapidement, pas mettre de point d’intérêt sur une séquence et on ne peut pas couper des morceaux directement sur l’application. Il manquerait aussi d’un bon stabilisateur sur vos scopecam. Allez les développeurs, à vous de jouer 😉

Fix Your App!!!
I play airsoft and I’ve been wanting a run cam scope cam 2 4k for awhile now. I finally get one and can’t even use the app because this outdated and horrible app won’t connect to the camera. I’ve read the manual and read forums and got it to connect once and then the video preview shows purple and blur streaks that are recorded when using the apps record button. But if I don’t use the app and record from the camera I have no issues with the video. Close out the app and reopen and can’t connect the camera without issues. So how am I supposed to mess with any settings when using a broken app that won’t connect half of the time. Fix your buggy app that everyone hates and fix the UI to make it less of a hassle to actually use. Extremely disappointed

Cannot look through my cam footage even when I’m connected to camera.
After reading some of the reviews I see that a lot of people are having this issue, the last update made to this app was 2 months ago, figure it out.
Not enough…
Had issues connecting, got connected, but it took forever. And the video doesn’t rotate. The functions you would want there aren’t there.

So we pay for a wifi camera for the app not to work I can’t even see the video this is soo frustrating I honestly wouldn’t have payed for the scope cam if I knew the app was this bad
