About

Rune Mobile is a native Kubernetes client for iPhone and iPad, built for developers, platform engineers, DevOps teams and SREs who need to stay close to their clusters even when they are away from the desk. When you are on the go, Rune helps you keep an eye on cluster health, inspect workloads, check logs, review YAML, follow events and understand permission or kubeconfig issues without opening a laptop. It gives you a focused mobile Kubernetes workflow for the moments when you need quick context, fast troubleshooting and safe access from your phone or tablet. Rune Mobile is designed to complement kubectl, k9s and the Rune desktop app. It is not a cloud dashboard, not a telemetry client and not a heavy platform portal. It is a native mobile Kubernetes app for practical cluster operations, built around speed, clarity and secure handling of cluster access. Use Rune Mobile to switch contexts and namespaces, inspect resources, view YAML, check events, search logs, open pod exec workflows and debug auth or RBAC issues with Auth Doctor. The interface is built for iPhone and iPad, with compact navigation, readable resource details and operator-focused workflows that make sense on a mobile screen. Features: • Kubernetes access from iPhone and iPad • Fast context and namespace switching • Namespace favorites and manual namespace entry • Pods, Deployments, StatefulSets, DaemonSets, Jobs, CronJobs, Services, Ingresses, ConfigMaps, Secrets, Nodes, PVCs, StorageClasses, RBAC resources, Events and Helm releases • Cluster overview with unhealthy workloads, resource counts and incident signals • Pod logs with search, line presets, previous logs, time filters and container selection • YAML viewing with syntax diagnostics and validation feedback • Describe output with searchable mobile text surfaces • Pod exec and terminal workflows with safe input handling • Auth Doctor for kubeconfig, context, namespace, API transport, RBAC, logs and exec checks • Cloud and kubeconfig import workflows • Support for common Kubernetes environments including EKS, AKS, GKE, Rancher, DigitalOcean DOKS, Minikube, kind, k3d, K3s, Docker Desktop and OrbStack • Read-only mode and safer mobile operation defaults • Local write audit entries • Redaction for sensitive values in diagnostics, previews, logs and exports • No analytics, tracking, advertising, telemetry or Rune cloud backend Why Rune Mobile? Kubernetes work does not only happen at a desk. Sometimes you need to check a crashing pod while commuting, verify a rollout from a meeting room, inspect logs while away from your workstation or understand whether a cluster issue needs immediate attention. Rune Mobile keeps your Kubernetes clusters close. You can quickly open the app, check what is unhealthy, inspect the relevant pod or deployment, review logs, look at YAML, check events and decide what to do next. Rune Mobile is especially useful when you want to: • monitor Kubernetes clusters while away from your desk • quickly check pods, deployments, services and events • inspect logs from iPhone or iPad • debug kubeconfig, auth and RBAC problems • verify cluster state before escalating an incident • keep production context visible before acting • use a native mobile Kubernetes client instead of a heavy web dashboard • stay connected to your Kubernetes workflow without carrying a laptop everywhere Rune Mobile keeps the workflow local and privacy-focused. There is no cloud account, no telemetry, no tracking, no ads and no Rune backend. One-time purchase. No subscription.
