Music volume issue
I’ve been using this app for a long time. I started with C25K years ago and learned about RunMate 2 years ago. I love the concept of visualization and motivation during my runs. I just don’t understand why when running the app your music or audiobook volume lowers significantly and the RunMate is extremely loud. There should be a way to control the volume and it should affect your music etc. I don’t pay for the app. Is that why? I wish it was better! I love listening to music or audiobooks when jogging.

Begin the journey
Recently did my first 5k. Walked whole distance.
I wanted to up my pace.
Found this app and love it! I wouldn’t consider myself a C-potato, I am fairly active but have never run. 65 years old and can’t wait for my next official run!🏃♀️👏❤️

Nice-ish but very inaccurate
I will say that the music function is quite nice, but that can be done via Spotify.
Here’s my quarral. I wanted to see if it could keep myself, somewhat in check with my progress, so I don’t have to manually enter it or rely on my withings watch. I mapped out my run and when I got back apparently my 6.5km run was 11.4km according to this app. And no it’s not the fault of the phone, as I was running my accurate withings app + mapped it with google maps for the last year that I ran it. Now if you’re trying to prepare people for running whatever distance. Accuracy seems like the most crucial part of a Running App. Side note this is the only app you can’t change from Miles to Kilometres. Considering every country on this planet except like 2-3 use the metric system, I feel like that’s a lacking part. Especially since you’re charging subscriptions. For anyone that’s made it this far, you want to track your runs or stay motivated. Go elsewhere.

Cancelled my subscription
This app is trash. If you sign out you lose your progress. Frequently crashes if you try to play in app music. What a waste.
Mindful Exercise
You could use this walking or running at a training pace or race pace and still benefit from the speaker’s guided practice.
Amazing except for music
I love this app & challenge & Can notice the progress tremendously. I only wish you could play your own music without it ruining the volume. I love my Spotify playlists but have to listen to their not so great mixes. Other than that 10/10!!
Why would you say that?
I use the “classic” C25K, but I downloaded this app the other day b/c the concept seemed intriguing to me. Since I’m still on C25K though, I haven’t tried the audio tracks/main function of this app, so my review is focused specifically on the app's additional content. I left the second star because of this.
The app sends a “motivational quote” or similar notification every morning. Personally, I don’t love this feature—I like to avoid unnecessary notifications and I’m not a fan of the widespread overuse of “motivational” content (most of which seems like surface-level recitation rather than meaningful encouragement or valuable advice, but that’s my feeling on a whole range of content, not this app in particular). I was pretty neutral about this part, it’s not too much of a bother and I figured I might eventually discover a quote I liked, so I barely noticed it… until today.
Today’s “motivational quote” reads as follows:
“The only disability in life is a bad attitude.”
…?
I mean… really? Did you honestly think that was a good statement to make? How many people had to “sign off” on that one before it actually reached the home screens of your user base?
To be clear, I’m not exactly offended by this personally, nor am I suggesting that anyone else should be. I’m just kinda blown away by what I can only assume is either thoughtlessness, carelessness, insensitivity, or a plain old lack of self-awareness on the part of the app’s content creators/curators.
It just seems like SUCH an obviously bad decision for anyone to make, let alone the developers of a successful line of PHYSICAL FITNESS APPS! Ha! Idk man, this is just wild. I had to point it out. I mean you gotta be kidding.

Fantastic!
I love this app! When I first started running I struggled to keep motivated and would count down the minutes until the end, but since I have downloaded runspace I have enjoyed getting out and running so much more. It helps me to relax and concentrate. I actually look forward to running now and have finally hit 3 stone weight loss! I couldn’t be happier!

Incredible App
I’ve been a long-time user of the C25K app and have to admit it took me a while to even think about accepting the offer to investigate RunSpace and leave C25K behind.Well, there’s been no looking back… This app is incredible…manages my health, mind and body and leaves me feeling supercharged after each mindful run. I’ve actually added an extra running day each week because I enjoy the mindfulness so much. Well done!

Love the combination of Run and meditate
It’s a great combination of run and meditate. I enjoy the motivation it provides when I am not really feeling much like running! Great job Runspace!❤️
Awesome
This is my go to app for walking and, soon, running. I am recovering from a broken ankle so I cannot go fast but the encouragement is great and motivating. I look forward to many more sessions as I improve and heal.
Amazing running app
I’m new to running (currently going from C25K to 5K-to10K) and have to say that this app has been so helpful. I love the mindfulness-focused approach to running that the app gives me. It helps me get through challenging (to me) runs and also helps my anxiety. I use this app a couple of times a week and definitely recommend it to anyone looking to up their running game or just improve their running mindset. Running is so mental, not just physical, and this app addresses both aspects of running. Love it!

Good app- needs Apple Health integration
Solid app for sure.
Can this be made to work with the Apple Health Kit?

What we all need during this pandemic!
I took up meditation back in March. I’ve always ran and long since considered it my therapy. This is a brilliant combination of two very relaxing things. Loved the C25K app and love this one more. Download it, you won’t be disappointed!
Very Enjoyable
The first time I tried this app I really enjoyed it. I felt encouraged and supported while walking/running. I thought the narration was great. Just enough interaction to not be intrusive. I’ve only used it twice but looking forward to building a habit.
Mind and body in sync
I started to use C25K as my main app to improve my physical health and I thought it was the greatest app until I found RUNSPACE. It is an extraordinary experience to be able to make something for your body AND your mental wellness at the same time.
Totally recommended.

Motivation
I was definitely a couch potato until I read about C25K. Everything changed...blood pressure finally under control without meds, mood improved, overall improved health, weight management, etc. Runspace has taken that and made it even better and I did not think that was possible. Thank you for giving this senior a reason to get out there and be a better person!
