Great fast connection, but it lacks mouse acceleration and makes my iPhone heat up.
Incredible and Open!
This app truly embodies the spirit of open source software. I just started getting into developing, and needed a way to remote into my Mac from iPad and iPhone. I launched a website from an airplane with this app.
There is nothing remotely comparable - let alone for free! There was real intention and intelligence put into the design of this app. And to utilize free public relays for it is just awesome. I’ll be getting my own server configured when I get back home - or maybe I’ll do it remotely via RustDeck!

recent update broke ipad mouse
I use this regularly with my ipad, and the most recent update caused it to be more difficult to you use. The mouse on my pointer on my desktop and pointer on my ipad aren’t lined up anymore and I can’t figure out how to get them lined back up.

Use this if your sick of other RD programs
For years I’ve had miserable times with other apps, dealing with support and having them raise prices. I finally got sick of it and decided to find an open source alternative, and discovered this app. The self hosting ability is amazing and this whole setup worked well enough for my personal devices that I am in the process of pushing my company over to this software to ditch our current Remote Desktop provider. Cannot recommend this enough

Great open source option! Lots of options if needed but also accessible and easier to set up than Sunshine + tailscale.

Please In the next update, could you add the option to view and modify USB drives when they are in file transfer mode, because currently they can not be accessed

Fabulous, free, a bit buggy
This is a great piece of software and a very functional solution for flexible remote access. Useful enough that I’d be happy paying for it. (But it’s free.) In terms of performance and functionality, it’s actually better than many of the paid solutions still available, including Splashtop. There are some persistent usability issues unique to its use on the iPad, such as flakey behaviour when using a keyboard and trackpad on the iPad (a very common configuration when remoting), scaling displays, etc. When those bugs get addressed this is going to be complete magic.

Remember Password doesn’t work
Seems to reset password with no prompt for it

Not ready for anything more than personal use. Don’t waste your time with this Chinese clone.

Works like a charm, can control my win 11 pc. Use it with my ipad and my second PC to control my basement PC

I use this app to access a raspberry pi linux server.
When i remote into it, most of the time rustdesk shows a black screen even though inputs get properly sent. I'm guessing it is because it uses a wayland server instead of x11.

Great but keyboard issues
Just about perfect but having issue using keyboard from iphone remoting into pc which is also remoting into another machine. Any idea what the issue is?

Garbage if you have Macs
Connects okay but can’t control Mac. Useless software
The BEST Remote Desktop software to date!
I have been using this software daily for roughly 2 years now. It is significantly more feature rich and responsive than TeamViewer, AnyDesk or any of the other Remote Desktop alternatives. New features are constantly being added and the latency and quality are unparalleled by any other software that remotely (pun intended) attempts to call itself "Remote Desktop software".
If you're fed up with TeamViewer, AnyDesk, etc. and want full control over your remote sessions, this is the software to use. You can even host your own server to keep everything fast and private. Great job developers!
There is only 1 caveat I have noticed. The app collects location and identifier data. Not a fan of this. Diagnostics are fine, but for OSS, location and identifiers, albeit not linked to my personal identifier, is uncharacteristic of the open source philosophy.
