Lame and Off-Putting for good customers
We have been using Ruth's as one of two "go to" nice restaurants for some years. At the moment we are putting together a meal for friends and family to celebrate a 97th birthday. Obviously that is going to be an extra big bill so I was looking for ways to save a little. When, in this process, I was made aware of this loyalty program I thought it was a nice thing, even though it wasn't going to make a big difference. Now I discover that our location doesn't participate? Why have a program that excludes good customers, alienating them in the process? Not smart, and not polite to your guests either.

I think it’s absolutely frustrating and veryyyyyyyy annoying you don’t allow gift cards to be used when ordering online or thru the app!!!!! 🗣️🗣️🗣️🗣️
Bad App
I don’t recommend downloading this app, it’s practically useless for most locations.
Very user friendly!
We love visiting Ruth’s Chris, and it’s so nice to get rewarded for being a loyal customer. The app has been very easy to use, and is more convenient than trying to keep track of a card or reward number.
App doesn’t work for some locations
The state I live in has locations for this restaurant but none of them are available on this app.
Why aren’t all the locations available?
The app really is of no use if you can’t add all location. Or… can you get points by showing up and letting the host know that you are a Ruth’s Regular member ? I’m going up there for Thanksgiving so I will see and then update my review.

The app has limited locations. I’m on the left coast and none of our RC are listed. I will be deleting the app.
Needs update
Like the comment below or above, it’s a great idea, but does not include every location. Should also have a feature to add every location you have been to/go to on a regular basis. Will be deleting the app after this review.

Not available for my location
I don’t understand why this app isn’t available for all locations? I downloaded the app because we planned on going to Ruth’s Chris for dinner tonight. Unfortunately, the loyalty program and app is only available to only six or seven locations out of over 150 locations world wide. We live in Connecticut and there is only one location in the state. Very disappointing. I guess we will be going to another steakhouse for dinner tonight.
I also deleted the Ruth’s Chris app since it is not useful to me.

Won’t let me set my location in Maryland
I’ve tried to select the Restaurant located in Gaithersburg Maryland and the app couldn’t resolve that location so I’m unable to set it for my preferred and favorite it kept giving me places like Indiana and other far away places I had to go on line make my reservation needless to say that the app is no use to me

Location issues
Seems to be limited to mid West.
Frustrated
I already have a Ruth’s Regulars account and I’m not able to log in to this new app with my previous login. I then tried setting up a new account and the app won’t let me since my email address is already in use! Ugh! There’s no help pages or troubleshooting info either. It’s very frustrating.
Awful app
Hey Ruth’s Chris, people move and keep their old cell phone # these days (it is 2021). When I set up my account in the app, it only gave me locations for my preferred restaurant based on my area code. Maybe driving 10 hours to my “local” location is fine for you, but… Then, I decide to jus pick one so I can sign up thinking I can just change it in my profile, but no, I can’t. I even enabled location services as I signed up, but no, still no good. Awful app. I already deleted it.

Needs Tweaking
Easy to understand the app but it’s not running properly on some levels. Constant crashes through the app and some servers and bartenders don’t seem to understand the app.
Also can’t seem to find a way to transfer my points from old receipts. But the app is easy to guide through and can’t wait to see future rewards.

Very disappointing
We have been long times, frequent patrons of Northside Ruth Chris.
We went so often that our favorite bartender would have drinks ready and waiting when he saw us walk in.
At his recommendation we signed up for loyalty program. Unfortunately COVID hit right afterwards and we did not return until summer and outdoor seating was avail but we went back often. The loyalty program was spend $1000 and receive a $90 credit.
That was great. Not only does this not allow us to transfer out points over. This App just doesn’t work. Without telling us our previous loyalty card has not registered our past two visits last week close to $400 alone. And the NEW PROGRAM is $25 credit per $1000 spent. I guess we will be eating at Provisions more often when we almost ate exclusively at Ruth’s. Not a way to take care of loyal customers.
