Ruuvi für Wohnwagenkühlschrank

Der Ruuvisensor lässt sich wunderbar in der eigenen App und auch über den Victron Energy Cerbo GX einbinden und zeigt verlässlich alle vier Werte an (Temperatur, Luftdruck, Luftfeuchtigkeit und Bewegungen) an. Zu Hause funktionieren die 4 eingesetzten Sensoren über Bluetooth bis ca. 6-7 Meter mit 1-2 massiven Wänden dazwischen ebenfalls sehr gut! Immer wieder gerne.

Excellent device

This an incredible piece of technology. I like knowing what the weather is outside due to being a Skipper and a Pilot. This gives me and instant view of what’s going on. I can take it with me and have all the date I need on the app, including alarms for certain things.
For any data geek a must have 😉
I would rate this 10 out of 10. Only improvements could be a rechargeable version.
Had for nearly a year and it’s still on the original battery 🔋👌.

Thank you for such a positive feedback and happy to hear that Ruuvi has found a home in your setup. Rechargeable batteries are actually incompatible with RuuviTag sensors, make sure to replace with standard CR2477.

Reliable and accurate

This sensor provides accurate readings. The app interface is clean and easy to read. It’s also highly customizable. I like the fact that I can track battery output on the app as well. Historical graphs are visible at a touch, and the user can specify the time range. Definitely the best temperature, humidity, and pressure sensor I have ever used.

OMG how do get those annoying Turn on Bluetooth notifications to STOP??? I turned off all notifications and I still get them! WTH??

Good little device!

Can you fix the app? The latest update 3.2.0 has all temperature set to Celsius. We need Fahrenheit. Fix!!!

Hi Chris350 and thanks for your feedback! Check your language selection in the app settings. It should use dot for decimal in US region.

Redesign. Not a fan

Ruuvi, the redesign makes the card height taller so have to scroll more, and when you open the card the digits are so small. The text now for the temps etc are so small can’t read them quickly. Not a fan of how much need to scroll now. Space utilization in the screen is very poor

New diagram too small

Why did Ruuvi make the height of the diagrams lower / small. And now I have a big blanc screen. Can I please choose or revert back to bigger display when I hold my phone in normal portrait.

Es scheint einen neuen Sport zu geben die Anwender von Hardware zu zwingen sich einen Online/Cloud Account zuzulegen und damit die Daten an den Hersteller zu schicken. Das ist nun schon das zweite Produkt mit dem selben Verhalten. Ich lasse derweile juristisch prüfen, ob es rechtens ist gekaufte und benutzte Hardware durch einen Online, Cloud und Account Zwang für Benutzer die dieses nicht möchten im nachinein unbrauchbar zu machen. Hiermit wird nachträglich in den Kauf eines Produktes eingegeriffen und die Produktmerkmale verändert. Man stelle sich vor man kauft ein Auto und kann es nach 2 Jahren nur noch Fahren indem man in einer APP einen online Account akzeptiert. Die dreistigkeit der Hersteller kennt keine Grenzen, Zeit ihnen welche zu zeigen.

pretty cool, but i have a firmware-feature request…

lovely and reliable devices, and the app provides all the functionality i wish.
however, it would be great if the ruuvi-tags would hold data over a longer time-period.
so what about a firmware change that would allow setting the storage-interval to something else than 5 minutes thru the app? setting it to e.g. 15min would triple the storage-period to 30 days (which would be great for me).
others might wish to set the interval shorter for a more tightly monitoring (even though i assume that the inertia of the sensor would limit the usefulness in that case).

Hello Kh47hhu, thank you for your feedback. This is incorrect, we don't force you to sign in to the app. You can always choose to skip sign in and use the app locally. We offer the completely free sign in feature to help you to restore your sensor cards and app related settings if you would ever need to reinstall the app or want to use it on another device.

Cloud-Zwang - Kein Zugriff ohne Anmeldung

Da fragt man sich, wo erhobenen Temperaturdaten landen: Aus dem geschützten Apple-App-Kosmos in die freie Cloud Welt. Da gab es wohl eine neue Finanzierungsrunde, bei der die Investoren einen Gegenleistung für ihr Invest verlangen. Die zugrunde liegenden AGB‘s kann man sukzessive Ändern: Zu Beginn alles Save und nach und nach wird der Datenschutz aufgeweicht - das kennt man ja zu genüge.
What about DSGVO ?
Schade … muss ich die Teile wohl über kurz oder lang entsorgen. :-(

Thank you for your feedback PinguinPit2. Currently the app sends only anonymised crash reports and we don't collect any personalised user data. In the next app update, we will also allow you to opt-out of sending analytics and crash reports, which we use to improve stability of the app only.

Stable and good UX

Been super impressed with the tags and the app works flawlessly. Would love to see CarPlay compatibility in the future for all of us non Victron camper van users!

Only Portrait Mode

Update: you can now use in either mode on iPad. Thank you so much and fast update!! This company really makes quality products. Sensors work great but iPad app only works in portrait mode. Hard to use if you have a keyboard attached to iPad. I will need to use phone to monitor.

Iphone 15 not updating sensor data

Same sensor Works fine on iphone 12..but iphone 15 does not update. Tried readding but none shown on bluetooth

Hi m_mm_mmm, thank you for your message! On iOS you can only pair sensors with Bluetooth to one iOS device at the time. Go to sensor settings and disable Pair and use background scan for specific sensor, then the sensor will be able to update on the other device. This limitation is due to strict Apple policy. If this doesn't solve the issue for you please write to our forum at f.ruuvi.com and we will help you out!

Has anyone anyone at the company actually used it?

The alerts, the main reason I bought it, or absolute garbage. You get a temperature exceeded alert, for example, and you keep getting it every 30 seconds until the temperature has changed.

It’s totally ridiculous. How do you expect a fridge to go from 38° to 34° in 30 seconds flat.

I would stay away from this and buy some thing like SensorPush instead.

The only reason I bought it is because it’s the only Bluetooth sensor compatible with my victron system.

Hello mark2457, Thank you for your feedback! You can adjust the alert interval in Ruuvi Station app by going to App Settings -> Background Scanning -> Data logging interval. We are bringing new ways for users to modify their alert settings in the future!
