Compare your runway heading with the wind and get the crosswind and head/tailwind components instantly. No mental trigonometry, no scratch pad. On launch it pulls the METAR wind from the nearest station to your position and sets the runway to that airport's favored end. Move to another field and the runway follows. WHAT IT DOES Shows crosswind and head/tailwind components live, and tells you which side the crosswind is from. You enter your own limit and the bar shows where you stand against it. It warns you when you go over. Drag the runway and the wind on the compass rose with your finger. Any scenario takes a second. Lock the runway and it stays put no matter how the wind turns. Whatever the tower assigned, it holds. Suggests the favored runway for the nearest field, applied with one tap. The history screen keeps the METAR reports you pulled and the runway suggestions.
