Google rip off
It’s acting like Google, but doesn’t even let me open the app
Been paying for months unbeknown to me!!
My daughter downloaded this app. When we realised it required a paid subscription, we deleted the app. I didn’t realise that I would need to cancel a subscription. I never signed up for! They have taken payments for six months unbeknown to me (no emails to advise of renewal, etc). Apple will only refund the most recent month so I’m £150 out of pocket for an app we’ve never even used.

I have a rock collection with actually nice crystals but when i got the app it made me pay to see the name of the stone! It also said to pay if you want to see the price.

money grab and misleading
My daughter addd this for the trial and then they charged me quicker than I could change it- they also denied refunding me back even though apple agreed and disputed this charge !!!

Got this app for fun for my child to play and deleted after 5 min, you can’t even play with it, only ads and everything is wrong
Cost
This app had my hopes up, but when I went for my first rock, I had taken the picture over and over again because the camera made it so blurry, when I finally got it not so blurry, I waited for it to finish scanning it, but when I went to lock at the info (which it hadn’t even given me the rocks name) I had to pay to see the cost of my rock. Outrageous. 🤦♀️

Plastic and glass misidentified
The app did not recognize costume jewelry “stones” made of plastic and glass, but gave me the name of the imitated gemstones. I also found the site impossible to navigate to allow me to cancel the app before the expiration of the free trial period. Waiting for assistance with cancellation.

Not good don’t get the app
It looks good at the start and it says it will tell you the cost and stuff but you have to pay premium just to basically be able to use it

I’ve downloaded a handful of these rock/crystal identifier apps now and I get a) the wrong stone b) a list of possibilities ( that doesn’t help me ) c) can’t identity or d) scanning the same rock on different apps and getting different results. Why would you pay money for these apps that don’t do what they are intended to
