Now criminality QRYDE given PII by SACRT, just hangs on a white screen on iPad, exits instantly upon execution on iPhone, perhaps it is time for everyone to call law-enforcement On Thursday, April 24 2025, the app is demanding location services which is not appropriate for passengers who do not carry a device but who are using a device at a fixed location facility . Also, when the app is advising an upgrade, it sends the user to a totally different app by the same developer instead of sending the user to the update link for this app .As of 7 AM on Tuesday, April 22 just entirely or mostly white screen the app does not yet appear to work As of 5:30 PM on Friday, April 18 the app does not yet appear to work

1). App is actually entirely non-functional without location data. Considering this is for public transit of a local area there’s absolutely no reason for this other than forcing people to give up their location data.
2). Account validation requires calling into a phone line for a confirmation code. Another unnecessary and sketchy practice.
3). Even if you got around the two above, the UI has about a 40% chance to crash into a blank white screen every time you touch it, which is frustrating when you need to pull up your Starting/Ending location as if you were googling directions. The fare system Sac RT uses isn’t even based on the amount of stops/transfers so there’s no point to these extra steps to buy a ticket.
I genuinely hope this causes more people to get frustrated and stop buying tickets because someone at Sac RT should be fired for negligence over this.

Not accessible
Sac RT Go is an accessible ride service but this app isn’t accessible. It has zero features for somebody that is visually impaired.
SacRT has the option to still use the phone service, but why not make this app accessible for the visual impaired users too and add the large font/dark background option to it?
