Why was this removed from my normal McAfee protection app?
I have had VPN with my McAfee protection billy boy, and now I don’t.

Every time I check app it’s not connected & I have to press connect again. Why it keeps turning off?

Not good protection
Forcing customers to ALWAYS turn off protection to have access to banking accounts and grocery/pharmacy is why I paid for this service. Yet customers must turn off this protection. Putting customers at risk because it always doesn’t get turned back on. What a waste of money and false advertising.

This is often sluggish. Connections. While typing this review, I'm connected to a restaurant WiFi network. I kept getting the “Oops, something went wrong” error every time I tried to connect to MacAfee
There are too many websites and Apps that seem to be incompatible with this VPN. I have to turn it off in order to connect to these sites. This includes virtually every App and webpage that requires a login
It far too cumbersome to use McAfee when I constantly have to deactivate it in order to access certain Apps and websites.
You also are unable to connect to sites like Hulu and Netflix, etc., using this as you get an error message that you are connected to a VPN, which they no longer allow customers to do.

My VPN on iPhone and iPad will still not connect. For the past several weeks now, all I get is the “Oops, something went wrong” error message.
There are too many websites and Apps that seem to be incompatible with this VPN. I have to turn it off in order to connect to these sites. This includes virtually every App and webpage that requires a login
It far too cumbersome to use McAfee when I constantly have to deactivate it in order to access certain Apps and websites.

Random on/off protection
The VPN is set to be on always. Dittos for protection. But McAfee turns these on & off for no reason at all. Well, that’s not totally accurate. I have to turn them back on every few hours. If I stay home, they turn off. If I go out, they turn off. What’s up? Not my VPN or “protection.”

Scam
I’ve just had Macafee take an annual fee of £47.99 but the says I’m not a payed up subscriber and have no protection. There’s no way to contact them, scam merchants!!!!!😡

i hate this. i hate it so much. it does not work. i don’t understand why it doesn’t work. worst app of all time i just need to get my frustrations out somehow. mr mcafee if you’re reading this i hope your huge mansion you’re probably living in explodes. i hate this stupid stupid app it doesn’t work.
