Sticky app and can’t simply make a quick entry
Been using for almost 3 years now and regret renewing the last time. The app wants to sync after any change or addition and is very slow to open often hanging up completely making a quick entry impossible. As others have said, responses from customer service have been laced with sarcasm. There are plenty of other options.

Held hostage
I started using this electronic logbook many years ago it was a 1 time purchase now they want you to subscribe for over $40 a year. I can’t even access my logbook to pull the information with out paying. Cant wait to watch them fail and disappear all together

Good app when all is well, but a catastrophe should you wish any help or backup.
Do not buy this garbage app
This apps print options are horrendous. The commands create incorrect results for layouts. It freezes and shuts down the app constantly. You have to spend hours tweaking the margins to get a trash looking result that’s inconsistent with your prior logbook. The customer support is non existent. Save your self major frustration and stay away from this company they’re awful.

10.8.7 not good
When I updated to 10.8.7, my sidebar editing button icons turned to blank boxes with question marks. They still operate but don’t display properly. The devices I didn’t update to 10.8.7 still operate normally. Devices are iOS 17.7
Great Logbook
I’ve been using this logbook since 2014. It’s worked great for years. Granted it’s not as fancy as the newer ones, but I don’t have to pay every month. The features can still provide you what the other ones do so I don’t feel like I’m losing out on functionality. The lifetime membership is totally worth it.

Works great
Currently using it on both iPad and android. I like that it’s available across both platforms. Import tools work well.
“Features” do not work
Ten years ago it was a great app, but the developer has let it deteriorate into a complete mess of “features” that no longer function. There are settings to turn off the Google Maps/Earth buttons but these do not work in the app or on the Mac Desktop version. The Desktop version for printing has a Legacy Print that crashes the program. The “sync on start” and “sync on close” features do nothing for the app on either platform. The developer has created multiple types of “currency” and “dashboard” screens and none of them work offline. I’m so disappointed that I purchased a long term subscription. Waste of money at this point. Developer takes your money and then never modernizes the app.

Great App.
I’ve used this app for many many years. I love it, it’s easy. As a 135 pilot it helps me keep track of so many legal aspects of flight time and medical considerations. I would definitely recommend!
Has worked pretty much flawlessly over the last four years
I have used this as my primary logbook since 2018 when I started my RW to FW transition. Has worked very well on my iPhone, company iPads, and my computer, and the cloud sync has been stellar. Good print out capabilities (ZERO issues with the basic Safelog format at my 121 legacy interviews-yes, I got the job) and zero data lost over the last 4 years. I will continue to track those hours via Safelog until I am finally like “why am I still doing this”?

I have submitted two questions to the support team over the last week and NO response. Simple questions to answer. Moving my information to ForeFlight.

This app incredibly in depth, or simple, the chive is yours! I enjoy analysing my flying, breaking it down into as many categories as possible. Safe log allows me to do all this and more, viewing my flights on a global map, breaking down instruction time, IFR time, P1 time with ease. This makes licensing applications so simple, as I don’t need to count how many hours I have on one type or class; Safelog does it all for me.
All this, with the knowledge my data is secure and my log entries are stored both on my iPad and in the cloud is why this is a 5* product

Schedule Broken
With the latest update scheduled items are not removed when clicking log it. Other than that great app!
Meh
Back end is ok but better looking alternatives out there.
Works Great
Well organized and easy to manage. Company is very responsive to questions. My time is broken up between military, GA, and 121.
Works about 50% of the time
The app always has problems connecting to the server and takes many attempts to sync my logbook and schedule, which is the only advantage of this app over free products. The user interface is not user friendly and extremely slow

Safelog makes it easy to record any flight you may do, with a complete database of airports worldwide.
Unfortunately “synchronising” is a very slow process. You could mow your lawn in the time it takes, and synchronising cannot occur in background or while using the app. You just have to walk away and leave your device while it happens. Have a cup of coffee, or three!

App update crashes
I have my ATP checkride in two days. I’ve had this logbook for years and all of a sudden it won’t even open. Adding a lot of stress to my checkride.
