Great app

This is a great app. Gives me comfort to check on aircraft. The tie to ForeFlight logbook was recently installed. That has been great. The approach scores are fun

Finally one stop app for my plane

This is what all planes should have but only cirrus does. View your fluids to see how much gas to order or of the FBO has the plane ready. Complete flight log with sync to ForeFlight with flight and Hobbs times. And all the service bulletins and ADs and other docs right there. It replaces several other apps with a single one. Works great now, too.

Not consistent & slow

Nice concept and looks great. Cirrus is really pushing this as part of its safety culture.

However, you have to pay for the service if you want to track landings. It’s included in jet stream but if you happen to have two or more aircraft you have to pay for each.

Real conditions are not taken into account. For example, wind and gust factors affect your approaches in the real world but not for your score on cirrus IQ. Apparently they are working on adjusting the approach score to account for METAR gust factors. But haven’t yet. How hard can it be to add a gust factor to target airspeed?

But my biggest issue is that the app is slow and does not grab all landings. It can take days for a landing to be scored and updated in the app. Sometimes they don’t appear at all.
Garmin & Foreflight have way more comprehensive flight scoring tech and don’t seem to have the same missing data issues and load super quickly.

As a premium product seller, Cirrus, i would think this would be way better.

Stabilized approaches

I like how it grades your landing based on stabilized approach criteria. It gives you an incentive to try to score 100% for landings though sometime operational needs (i.e. short approaches) ruin your score. I like that it makes you think of stabilized approaches by setting standards. I haven’t yet used the maintenance functions but I like checking how much fuel I have on board without being near the plane.
