What's New in SafePlate
1.4.0
June 13, 2026
SafePlate 1.4.0 — One scan, the whole family. WHOLE-FAMILY SCANNING • Family chips on every result — see at a glance how the same product checks out for each family member, not just the child you scanned for. • Switch family members right from the scan header. • The selected member now stays selected across launches. SMARTER LABEL READING • If even one line of a label photo reads poorly, SafePlate now says "couldn't verify" instead of risking a wrong all-clear — and gives you a Retake Photo button. • Ambiguous additives E322 (lecithin) and E471 (mono- and diglycerides) now surface as "may contain" for soy, egg, and dairy profiles. CLEARER, FAIRER • Feel the result — distinct haptics for clear, caution, and flagged results. • VoiceOver reads the verdict as one clean utterance; the verdict headline now scales with your text size. • Your free-scan counter shows exactly when it renews, and running out no longer blocks the whole Scan tab. • Trial end date shown up front; reinstalling no longer resets your scan count. • Restore Purchases now tells you the outcome, and you can revisit your AI photo-analysis choice anytime in Profile. If SafePlate helps your family, a review helps another family find it.
