Seriously guys?
I’ve only been using the app for half a year or so, but my god is it bad. The latest update added white bars to the top and bottom of my script questions, blocking the question each section is asking. I have to guess at what each question is, then go back through and check to make sure I did every single job right. When I’m an orders where I need my camera pole, my Bluetooth shutter button will not connect right away, and when it does it snaps 15 photos in rapid succession. When I’m ready to submit, I have to go into the script questions, move back one question, move forward and finish the script, and only then can I submit a job even after I’ve taken all of the required photos. Transmitting is a pain, most jobs don’t go through until I refresh the app which takes at least 5 minutes. So his app is a dumpster fire of poor code and a lack of care to fix bugs from the company. Please, for the love of god, start caring about the people using your app and start fixing issues.

Worst app ever
Absolutely the worst app I have ever worked with. Due to that it is making working with the company extremely difficult. The app is not user-friendly. You are constantly having to log in because it is logging you out even if you are in the middle of uploading photos. If anything gets moved by a manager all of your work get lost, including photos and inspections themselves and you are stuck with having to redo them. With how advanced the technology is nowadays, it is appalling that this app is still being used to perform field inspections. Considering that is your only tool to perform this work.

Blue tooth connected issues
When I have the app Bluetooth connected to use my roof evaluation tool it continues to snap photos repeatedly when I have any other app open or a phone call comes through. Any way to fix this bug? It’s very annoying to have to hurry up to close the camera, go back to delete 50 unnecessary photos and to remember to turn off Bluetooth doesn’t keep happening.

Being locked out over a IL partial return
I share my login with another inspector. She had a IL partial follow up requesting more photos. All required photos were taken. The Home owner opted out of having all flooring replaced and a note was made. Long story short, I logged in this morning, 17 work orders popped up in the app when there we’re actually 58 on the website. I called my coworker, all of them synced when she logged on this morning. A icon warned that we would be locked out if the partial follow up wasn’t completed by noon. Still, her app showed all 58 , mine 17. I called the help desk and explained my issues. I was talked to in a very condescending tone and was told the problem was the partial follow up. If that was the case, why was my co worker able to sync all 58 and mine only 17??? I don’t like being talked to as if I’m an idiot. I had to close out, delete and reinstall the app and then I had to turn my phone off and turn it back on to finally get the orders to download. I literally have to delete and reinstall this app at least 2 to 3 times a month.

Insurance scripts
They are terrible. No flow to the questions and the required photos that populate at the bottom should be by group, such as all the electrical photos needed, instead of being in alphabetical order. Interior questions should be first, people expect you inside at the appointment time, not outside fir 15-20 minutes before entering. There are things like detached structures asked three times in the script, making the need for 8-10 photos of the same structure.

When are the script’s going to be reworked? They are terrible, interior inspections have the exterior questions first which is ridiculous since PH’s except us in the house at appointment time. Same question is asked multiple times, such as detached structures

We need to be able to select multiple work orders to show on a map simultaneously.
As it is it takes an hour or more to locate and screenshot each then upload those to your photo editor, make them all except one transparencies then overlay them all to plan your route for the day.

Super frustrating. Seriously adds hours to my work week when my time is money being self employed. It makes no sense you can’t upload pictures you take yourself which is irritating because mommy camera is amazing and the app suppresses the pictures. If I go to upload my own pics on the app it says JPG ISNT ACCEPTED!!! What!?!?!?!?

Horrible app
The biggest issue I have with this app has to do with Insurance Loss inspection orders. If a IL has not been scheduled I can’t do any inspections on my list. While I was out on my route today, after being locked out in the middle of inspections due to a IL. I stopped, make my 3rd attempt to schedule this IL. The app wouldn’t load the required screenshot proving I made the call. I was in a area with 8 inspections and I couldn’t get anything to load. I logged out, turned my phone off 3 times and never was able to log back in. I spent 2 hours trying to get my orders to load. Time is money and I lost two hours worth of time and money today. Not to mention the wasted fuel, at today’s prices, I can’t afford this. Fix your app. EZ Inspections doesn’t have any issues like this. Also, you need to get a map page with push pins showing the location of each inspection. This would save me from having to map it out on my table top.

Some inspections sync right away, others take days. I have two on my app right now, I’ve been trying to sync for days.

when viewing larger size photos to determine the label of each photo, when clicking the X in the upper left corner, the icon X desapear and the app crashes. (specific error on ios16.x.x)

Terrible
Horrible app making work more difficult than it should be. Frequent messages that say I can’t log in unless I update app but there no update to be had. Guess I just can’t work today…
Unable to login in
I have downloaded the app yesterday and tried to login and and it keep saying login doesn’t match… I know I’m putting in the right information because I’m able to login in on the website. I tried to call the it help line yesterday to someone saying they couldn’t help me. Can’t even get started doing inspections 🤬

Lowest I could give.
I would give this app no stars if I could, but then it wouldn’t be a review. No way to see properties on a map, no inspector pay listed, no way to print job summaries from the website, what exactly does this app do that’s useful??? How can you set up a route when you can’t see where the properties are in relation to each other? There’s no way to print out anything to document, for your records, that the job was completed, and when. To take the time to individually map each property on a mapping program will take hours. Hours that I’m not paid for. The only reason I can fathom for using this app is that it’s significantly cheaper than other, better apps. Penny wise and pound foolish. Reprogram this app to actually do something productive, and then, maybe, we’ll see.

So let’s start off by this this APP will log you out for no reason , then want you to put in your log in and password again no way to save it .

The download button for insurance loss will not work it’s like it’s not even there I can see it but press it hold it nothing works . It’s very slow when just doing regular work . The photos are so small you can be efficient when labeling. It will take multi photos when you’re not even trying to take a photo . I’m not to sure who the devs are but get your money back and hire a good team to actually put in the work to make our interaction on this friendly . The directions button will take you 20 miles away from the house I heard the directions will bring you to where the house was submitted but not the house itself why is that ? How hard is it to press the directions button and for it to give you directions to the home? I truly feel like who ever idea to make this app was just like just make it have these actions and who cares about what the actions actually do. The survey will have some answered questions on it from the previous time it was filled out one time and then no answers on it the next . There is no filters for the work besides due date . I see it have a combined 1.6 rating and the response back is to email the team . READ THE REVIEWS AND MAKE CHANGES . I wish I could give this a 0 star . Sit down take your time and legit read all the reviews and out yourself in our shoes and see how we are dealing with a dumpster fire every time we wake up and log into this app.

Why is this company incapable of putting out an app that works properly and helps its inspectors? The app has been taking non stop pictures if you are playing any songs or podcasts. And you all know this and still haven’t fixed it.
