Not quite ready to launch
I really love PN, which I did for two years. I thought this might be a refresher - a check in to check in with myself and make sure I held myself accountable. Unfortunately, it’s just not there. My first week was to check in about increasing protein intake. This worked fine, although the daily check-ins we’re not that useful, unless you needed some recommendations, which were quite repetitive. My next week was emotional check in. I notice a name sort of thing regarding your relationship with food. This just doesn’t work well with this format, unfortunately. Additionally, this does now interface with Apple health app, but I found that it only works some of the time. This really seems like a beta version of an app. Hopefully it will come up with better in the future. 🤞🏻

Doesn’t work
Repeatedly getting an error when trying to set goals now. Nothing I can do to fix this on my end
The coach in my 24/7
One of the favorite things I like about this app is that it’s always available to you. I work during the day and don’t have time to talk to a regular human base coach or keep a schedule with the trainer. It’s really cool too how the chat function remembers things that I’ve told it two or three weeks prior to make sure it gives me the right guidance moving forward.

Terrible
This app locks up all the time. Repeats itself. Don’t waste your money. I currently cannot communicate with it at all. Filed complaints nothing resolved. Huge waste!
App lacks logging/tracking
The most obvious function for a diet/weight loss app is tracking what you eat. Precision Nutrition (the makers of Sage) advocate measuring food in hand portions of protein, vegetables, grains, and fat but there’s no tool to keep track of those or macros or even a list of what was eaten in a day. Until that’s added this app is just ChatGPT.
