It’s a terrible platform for any Service tech working in the field. Been using it for two years. It is the biggest headache. You better off using the web browser than the app even then it’s very limited and hard to use in the field..

Garbage is an understatement.
I’m just a service tech and I don’t know how much my company is paying to use this but I know it’s way to much. This app feels like it’s not done yet. I tried to enter time on a work order and I couldn’t see the numbers. I realized it’s white numbers on a white background. You can tell they don’t care if it works or not because it’s been out for years and it’s still garbage. Don’t waste your time on this one.

Dark mode compatibility is broken
With Dark Mode enabled on iOS, all text in the app changes to white, yet the background does not change. Either force light mode in the application, or change the background color to black in dark mode.
Needs a lot of work done.
The website is great but it does need a lot more servers to be able to handle the amount of people clicking in and out. But the app is even worse. Needs a lot more work for it to be functional. Way too slow and too many bugs
Horrible
Our company loves Sage accounting and I think it’s great as well. However, Sage Service Operations is not very user friendly. The app constantly crashes, creating photo reports, preparing forms, scheduling assignments, and generating PDFs are all very cumbersome and slow. While I still think it’s better than nothing, I think Sage could absolutely learn from other Service and Field operation softwares that are out there. This app and software needs a complete overhaul to meet the standard that should be expected in 2020 for this type of software.

Functionality
Our company is fairly new to Sage Service Operations. So our enthusiasm to the app was high, upon downloading and attempting to use it, we found It is only subpar functionality, with half the time it doesn’t want to load, it just spins for a while and then goes back to the icon, pretty disappointing to say the least. The concept is there, hopefully they get it working, but as of now, not worth the placeholder space on your screen.
