App does not work
The weather station is fine; however , the app on my phone is terrible and won’t connect to the station. I would give it 0 stars.
Terrible
Doesn’t work in any way. Suppose to support the same name personal weather station but surprisingly, it doesn’t. So why buy the product??? Not recommended.
What’s the point
Why buy this brand when they produce a non-usable app. I would just stay away from this brand all together. Can you get it to work with WU? Yes, but you can’t follow their instructions. So disappointed with their overall quality and performance.
Worst app ever
First, contrary to sainlogic directions, it’s impossible to add one of their personal weather stations to WiFi using the app. You must use a web address that requires a tech savvy person. It took me 3-4 hours including mental breaks needed. Once connected, the app does nothing other than show what you can see on the PWS monitor. The Wunderground site shows so much more. After losing connection between the PWS array and monitor on a regular basis, I returned the entire system to Amazon and deleted this app. I bought an Ambient system which is working flawlessly and has an interesting and fun interactive app that shows a multitude of information going back over time including the current weather.
This app is pointless.

What a waste of time!!
Ran into the same issues as previous users. Hours of wasted time, until I followed the instructions in previous review. But the time was already wasting by the time I found the review.

I am taking the liberty to repost these excellent instructions posted here about a year ago at the date of this writing, January 27, 2005, by user "Lovelikeamaze" who is in my grateful estimation an absolute gem of a human being. My intent is to help them show up when sort by recent.
I followed these instructions and it worked like a charm. The only caveat is in step 11 your browser may insist on using HTTPS, and my experience I was only able to reach 192.168.5.1 using plain HTTP. Those two use different ports to listen for incoming requests and the hardware on the display panel for the station may only be using the port associated with default Http://
Without further introduction I give you Lovelikeamaze kind and thoughtful advice:

1. Make sure your console is plugged in and the wifi symbol is blinking
2. Make a wunderground account online.
3. After making an account go to your profile and push 'my devices'
4. Push add new device
5. When it wants you to select a device hardware select 'other' and then push next
6. Enter your address and then push next
7. Enter a name for your weather station, but don't change the elevation or hardware. Then answer the ones about where you put your Weather Station (height above ground and what surface it is on).
Then push 'I accept' and then move on to the next page.
1. On this page it will show you your Station ID and Station Key, YOU WILL NEED TO REMEMBER THIS.
2. Now make sure you are on a laptop. On that laptop connect to your console's wifi. (it should be called sainlogic with numbers after it)
3. Open up an ICONGITO browser on the laptop.
And search http://192.168.5.1.
(MHW 1/27/25 note to not use https just plain http)
11) That will bring you to your FINAL STEP. Now you should fill out information about your wifi at your house (network's name and password). And then, you need to enter the ID and KEY from from before.
***YOU DO NOT HAVE TO FILL OUT THE LAST THING ON THERE ABOUT THE OTHER WEBSITE WEATHERCLOUD
12) Push save and it should all connect. And on your console you should see the correct time and date.
Now instead of using the app Sainlogic to track the your data. You need to use wundeground.

Functional and straightforward
Gets the job done for daily data. To see more data just go to Wunderground.com
Not Wi-Fi capable
The device can only be used as a local display, it is not capable of Wi- Fi connection either on local network or Weather Underground, dont bother trying……….wish I read the reviews before buying, or spending countless hours attempting to connect

Not smart bird feeder
Supposedly this app works with the smart bird feeder. I could not find it.
Useful…sort of
It’s nice being able to pull the data off of my weather station, but it really needs the option to automatically refresh the current station instead of having to manually refresh all the time.
Follow THESE instructions
Do not, under any circumstances, try to set up your Sainlogic device for Wunderground wifi usage using this app. It will never connect. Instead, do the following.
1. Set up an account on Wunderground as the instruction manual says and add a new device once your account is created. Be sure to write down the station ID and station key that is generated by Wunderground for your device.
2. Open up your browser and key in 192.168.5.1 and hit enter. This will pull up your Sainlogic device’s programming window.
3. Select your wifi network and key in the password for it if you have one.
4. Key in the aforementioned station ID and station key you got from Wunderground and hit “Save.”

Suggestion
The app isn’t terrible. My main problem with it is when you open it, you have to wait like 30-60 seconds for the data to refresh/update. It’s quicker to just kill the app, reload it, then it pulls in the newest data immediately. PLEASE add a REFRESH button that pulls the latest data, or allow the screen to be pulled down to refresh the data (like almost all other apps on earth)

I am not okay with putting in all of my credit card info just to set up an account on this app. What other choices do I have? This Stellar page you sign in on is a scam to charge your credit card. What other app can I use ?

Poor with adds
Worst product I have ever purchased. Deceptive app has adds that look like you are registering your device. It ends up being a workout app. It says it won’t charge you but it does. Then the weather station product doesn’t work well either. Returning it all. Waste of time horrible product
