Exactly what I needed
I’m not sure why it’s taken me so long to download the Sainsbury’s magazine app as I’ve bought the printed magazine for years. The app is easy to use and especially useful to search previous copies. Now we’re back to commuting, I can easily read it on the train! Love it!

Rubbish
My hubby bought the subscription to the Sainsbury’s Magazine for a Christmas present for me. I received the mag but am unable to view the digital copy. Not satisfactory. Won’t have it again. I also sent them an email over a week ago and had no response! Hope all subscribers aren’t treated like this.

This doesn’t work.
Downloaded the app. Was greeted by a message telling me that there would be fewer issues owing to Covid. Then ... nothing. Just a blank screen. Have reloaded. Got the same result.
How do you register????????
Received magazine and thought I’d download app. I have subscriber number but can’t register. Where is this option?.
It’s a con
I stopped subscribing and now I cannot see any of the magazines/recipes that I paid for already for over a year. An absolute con!
Brilliant recipes that work every time
Love this food magazine. Always has loads of recipes I love to cook - quick, easy and impressive! That's my kind of cooking :o) Subscription includes access to back catalogue of all previous magazines too - so I don't cook from anything else!
Rubbish
Don't buy it! Unless you subscribe you only get about 5 pages! Very disappointed!
Great to cook from
Love this app. It means I can now cook from my beloved Sains mag straight from my iPad. No printer needed!
Sainsbury's charge you
Has to be the funniest bit of marketing I've seen, there is now a charge if you are not a customer. Simple choice for me, *delete app*!
Cannot retrieve purchased issues
The subscription cost is too high considering you never own the issues and cannot retrieve issues purchase once you no longer subscribe. It only costs £20.00 for 12 printed issues which you own but costs £25.99 for digital issues which you cannot retrieve. Don't purchase either anymore due to wasting £25.99

Wot a load of tripe...bad enuff u rip us off with ur prices in store...now you want us to pay to see your advertising as well as get paid by all the other people advertising with you...what a bloody cheek...would recommend anyone considering this download to get coop or morrisons mag, but not this...only gave 1 star as can't give zero...

Sub optimal compared to others...
I downloaded the app and paid the subscription (as you do with most magazines), however tuning the pages of this mag can be a chore. Others like Olive, Good Food etc switch pages easily but if you enlarge this page or move it in anyway you can have issues switching. This is really annoying. It also takes a few seconds for the page resolution to alter which becomes a pain. The real sticking point for me though is that once your subscription expires you lose he ability to view content. I'm not happy with this so I've paid for 6 months but have already changed the automatic resubscribe function to 'off.' It's a real shame as I love this mag but it's sub optimal in too many ways vs others.
