User reviews

Hopeful it can reach its potential

Feed doesn’t display titles of the articles. Tried with multiple sources. Just has the source name and then a few preview lines of the content within the article. Home feed is also a bit strange with the top topics.

The best RSS reader available

Switched over from inoreader and I’m blown away by how good and feature rich this is. I highly recommend it.

Still Missing a Mute Feature

Can I suggest adding a mute feature for all websites rather than having to mute per website? Thank you.

Response from developer

Thank you for using Sakura Reader! Regarding muting keywords, you can currently long press on a feed and select ‘Rules’ to add keywords you want to mute from a feed. Regarding pure dark mode, an option to turn off the gradient background is in the works and will be released in the next version 😉

Lots of Unique Features

A newer, completely free, RSS Reader w/lots of great promise. Easy to use & has lots of unique features that separates it from others, including the ability to display articles in multiple formats, Apple Intelligence Summaries, AI generated morning summary of new articles & evening digest of the day’s highlights. Only con I’ve found so far is the inability to sort feeds into folders.

Response from developer

Thank you for using Sakura! The ability to sort feeds is being considered, and will be released in a future release.
