About

Most task apps hand you a long list and let you stare at it. Sammy hands you one card. Swipe right to start it, swipe left to skip it. That's the whole thing. WHY ONE CARD INSTEAD OF A LIST A to-do list asks you to do three things at once: choose what matters, rank it against everything else, and start. If you stall at the starting line, that isn't one wall, it's three. A single card collapses all of it into one binary decision: this task, yes or no. That's a decision size a stalled brain can actually make. HOW IT WORKS - One task at a time, never a wall of to-dos - Swipe right: a timer starts, you begin - Swipe left: skipped, no penalty, no judgment - Sammy the squirrel collects a nut for every task you finish, visible progress right now instead of some abstract payoff later - Decks for chores, admin, self-care, getting out the door, and days where brushing your teeth is the whole win NO STREAKS, NO GUILT Sammy doesn't count how many days in a row you've kept it up. There's nothing to break. Anyone who has fought procrastination knows the spiral: miss one day, and the app becomes one more thing accusing you. Sammy only counts upward. WHO IT'S FOR People with ADHD, executive dysfunction, anxiety, or just an ordinary bad day. Adults, teens, and kids, with content curated per age group. HONEST ABOUT THE SCIENCE There's a screen inside the app that explains the actual mechanism behind each feature: why task paralysis is better understood as an activation failure than a motivation problem, why decision fatigue costs more for ADHD brains, and what the nut counter is really standing in for. It's equally explicit about where the evidence is thin: there is no controlled trial of Sammy's specific implementation. That's exactly why there's a free trial instead of a "trust us" pitch. PREMIUM - Unlimited custom decks and cards - Mood check-in: tasks adapt to your actual energy, not the energy you wish for - Full win log - Recurring schedules - Two more companions: Eddy the elephant and Tammy the turtle - Offline decks Sammy is not a medical device and does not replace diagnosis, advice, or treatment. What's New in Sammy ADHD Task Support

1.2

August 17, 2026

Sammy has a wardrobe now. Hats, scarves and more, unlocked by finishing tasks — dress your squirrel however you like. A new look throughout. Cards, buttons and screens have been redesigned to feel calmer and easier to scan. The Premium page has been rebuilt from scratch: clearer about what you actually get, and far easier to read. More timer lengths to choose from, including short bursts for the days when five minutes is the whole win. Haptics. Swipes, timers and finished tasks now give a subtle physical response, so completing something feels like something. The science pages are now in your language — what each feature is actually doing, and where the evidence is thin.
