Won’t connect
When I try to connect it it just keep telling me to connect it again even though it’s already connected and currently it’s not showing many features on the app or any of the photos.
It’s 2025, still not good.
App crashes, camera disconnects from iphone constantly, no live view, exporting takes way too long, crashes during exports anyway, and battery on camera barely lasts for any practical use. I’m honestly surprised samsung, of all companies, would release a product like this. However, price explains itself for a budget go-pro.

Doesn’t work!!!
This app refuses to connect to the camera. I can get my phone to connect to my 360 cam but the phone will not connect to the camera via the app. Total garbage. Will never buy another Samsung product again!! They make junk and kill off their support faster then their products come out. Junk!!
And I thought the Android app on Samsung phones was bad
This app is beyond garbage. It’s ADVANCED garbage. The workflow requires connecting and disconnecting from WiFi networks, and even if the workflow was simpler, the app crashes constantly. Ok, I was using this app on an iPhone 6, and it’s old, but so is the app. Samsung, I beg of you to just make it open source, omg, your apps on both Android and iOS are just complete dog doo.

Camera doesn’t connect to app anymore
The app used to work, but it doesn’t anymore.
This app is trash, and I’m glad I don’t have a Samsung phone. If the app is this bad, I cannot imagine how bad their other devices are.

You should make everything open source since you discontinued it it’s not our fault your a garbage company. Also you can’t even livestream to YouTube because of improper google app setup

Program is good but can not save video?
When saving video counting up to about 9%, then it stops saving. Very annoying and frustrating when videos are unable to save and view at another time. It can only view within the app. It needs to allow saving video to the phone. Programmers, please fix issue.

Technology Sometimes Bogus
I don’t know if I trust technology in the coming future because of this possible discontinuation.
I understand most of smart products that come with mobile app integration are really convenient but later on the developer decides to obsolete the app, although the physical product is still serviceable & working, and no longer useable just because of discontinuation and can be disappointed towards most of consumers.
I tried to look for the alternate way of mobile app to be functional for Gear 360 as of present. The device is still working, the only issue is no longer viewable due to app phased out.
Just like I wanna use Walkman that I purchased from 80’s but I can’t use it due to Sony took it away just because it’s obsolete product. How fair could this be for loyal consumers?

Good app
Hey dont listen to all the negative comments the app works fine on my IPHONE XR last version. The only issue i have is when u record a video you dont get to see what you're recording till you finish recording and see it in the gallery, other than that it works fine and it's nice. Worth the. Money

Big sustainability fail on Samsung’s part to drop support on these devices. How many will end up in landfills because the owners couldn’t figure out why the app doesn’t work?
Sure, you can use the desktop app to stitch but there is no stabilization like on the phone app.
I ended up buying an old Android phone for $35 just to be able to reliably connect to the phone and frame and stabilize my shots.

confusing at first, but it definitely works and is somewhat intuitive
i saw a lot of concerning comments about the app and product left in the review section so i was definitely worried. but after figuring it out i think i have some solutions. after turning it on you have to press the bluetooth/mode button to get to the connect to ios or android. when you press that it will give you a username and password. the password is the 8 digit code on the bottom of the small screen. you can go to the wi-fi section in settings on your phone and look for the device listed as a wifi network. after connecting just to to the app and it will work.

I know this app isn’t supported by Samsung anymore but I still like it. It works. Only problem is that you can’t save the ‘’earth view” mode, which I like.

I can’t believe how poor Samsung are at product support. Even when this was supported the app was terrible. I’ve seen better software from unbranded Chinese companies. Never again will I buy Samsung hardware. Disgraceful.
